Sometimes it occurs to me that Bernard is very very lucky that the Cult of Dionysus seemed to have been sacrificing him for some strange “give Dionysus a human vessel” or “kill in the name of Dionysus” purpose… because the most notable sacrificial / blood related ritual of Dionysus to my understanding typically included sparagmos and omophagia. Also known as tearing apart the sacrifice with bare hands and then consuming its raw flesh.

Honestly, he lucked out in that regard. Tim just had to swing and hit one guy with a dagger instead of a crowd ready to dismember Bernard alive.

Bernard waiting for a bus, the rain soaking through his coat, his puffy eyes giving away the fight at work, stray tears still dripping with the rain on his cheeks, the rain stops and a warm figure is pressed to his side with a cape draped over his body, the only words uttered is "I've got you.." that's all it takes to make Bernard lean into him, knowing the voice more than the figure himself. like this, he feels more at home than he ever has, comfortable and warm with the person he gives his life and heart to, even in the pouring rain..."Thank you, Birdie.." the figure only smiles and pulls Bernard closer, trying to stay a solid figure for him even when in the suit

The devastating difference between how much time it takes to write something vs how fast people read it lol

you're falling in the trap!! it will be read by many people, many times, and it will live on in their memories. and maybe no single other human will match you in time spent dedicated to your story, but as a collective we will outlast you. acts of creation only grow when they are shared

This. Writing is not like dinner. It can be consumed many times

you write it once so it can be read forever

Yes I like Primehood because I find "cosmic entity who thinks your death was an aberration and broke the fabric of the universe to fix it until they broke you back from death twice" as a premise for romance extremely enticing especially considering everything else about Jason's character BUT also because SBP said "I just want to go home" and then the titans said "you can never go home" and then they trapped him in the source wall, a horrifying prison at the end of the universe, in order to be able to sleep at night knowing that they did not kill him.

So like. You can never go home. You're never gonna stop wanting to go home. You know better than anyone there are fates worse than death. How could I not ship them
