25 - who needs more assurance? cam 100%, though she’d never admit it. as a very anxious person she Needs to be reassured quite frequently but the thought of asking for attention or help of Any Kind makes her physically nauseous. however arastoo catches onto this quite quickly and makes sure to make sure she knows how well she’s doing/how much he loves her/how proud he is without her needing to ask <3
29 - one headcanon about this otp that breaks your heart? when arastoo was away in iran, cam’s anxiety got so bad she essentially didn’t function. she was barely eating or sleeping because she was genuinely terrified all of the time for him :-( it ended up fucking her up healthwise because she was not taking care of herself at all
30 - one headcanon about them that mends [your broken heart]? some nights during that time, when cam was doing really poorly, she’d call arastoo just to hear his voice. while it was nighttime for her, it was early morning for him, and he would get his day started by talking to her and reading her poetry until she fell asleep on the phone with him <3
speaknowWhat is kinda weird to me is that we older fans experience taylor's versions so different from new fans... With this rerelease of speak now, we've got all of these prior events stuck in our minds, we know everything about that era, the little quirks, the interviews, the aesthetic, the tour, basically what it essentially 'felt' like - and all that is what makes speak now tv so special and it's why we appreciate that taylor recreates this vibe for the new version. And I know taylor's gained so many new fans in the last year and they will enjoy the rerecordings too but it's an odd feeling seeing them 'discover' and post about things and lyrics that we've known about since 2010. It makes me feel old but also I'm just really happy that I've been there for so long and known taylor :)
