A/N: So, fun fact (actually not-so-fun), the same day I started writing this story, my car battery died after work. I hope this was just a one-time thing, because I have 29 more of these fics to write!

It really irks me when people bring up Lu’s distaste for sinners when it’s obviously comeing from a place of actual fear.
Which like yeah part of it is that we the audience know that like being scared of Angel and Husk is a bit silly but clearly he’s not talking about them. Like he’s telling Vaggi how there part of his punishment. He feels oppressed by sinners becuase they can walk all over him. (Which you’d think his wife who is there queen might have protected him from the sinners but, he isn’t acting like that was the case.)
Like they can’t kill him but, they can hurt him alot. We also know in season one he was scared for Charlie and that was the main reason he wasn’t being supportive. Which he tells Charlie he’s worried about her fighting heaven which like he is but, he is also worried about the sinners as well. Which Vox is targeting her becuase of the hotel specifically. He can defend her from Adam but not from Vox.
Like the ways he is describing him is litterly the ways you might describe stright men. Like litterly gross and cant get rid of them and no taste in musicals are like things I’ve hurd people say about stright men more times than I can count and, is that completely fair some men like wicked.
But the reason he can’t stand them is because obviously alot of the kind of people who go to hell are vindictive and even if Vox was the first sinner who actually hurt him the knowledge that the only thing stopping any giveing sinner from hurting him is the chance to like that’s scary ( and he has to big of a ego to admit that).
You know with especially Fundimentalist Christian culture in the real world they actively try to teach women to be scared of men. Like it makes scence to me if this is metiphore for that intentionally. If anyone cares about that reading maybe I’ll make anouther post later.

As for what to try and write: I don’t know. I tried a diary with portraits (some scathing some comic some commendatory) of persons and events seen; but I found it was not my line. So I took to ‘escapism’: or really transforming experience into another form and symbol with Morgoth and Orcs and the Eldalie (representing beauty and grace of life and artefact) and so on; and it has stood me in good stead in many hard years since.

But like, waitress and cook, femme and masc, blonde and dyed red, curious/bisexual and lesbian, forced proximity, banter, jealousy, kisses in dark corners, shared glances, tracing tattoos with your finger, attitude and sarcasm, I hate you, we deal with the same bullshit at work, you get mad at me when I screw up my order, and I get mad at you when a customer yells at me for something you forgot, kiss me to shut me up while I’m cursing you out, most judgmental couple ever, always girl night hosts for bridgette and amber, let me take you home, I wake up in your bed in your wonderfully clean room, you let me know table 5 asked for the dressing on the side, I remember how your back felt against my palms.
