I don’t mind anything inspired by my art. In fact, please tell me about it! And I don’t mind if you use my art for a video, your phone, etc. All I ask for is credit. Just link back to the original work, please, or at least let people know where you got the art from, okay? It’s such an awful feeling to realize more people have seen bits and pieces of your art from uncredited steals than from your… actual posted art…

I love taking progress pics because I can see how progress. In this case I made various sketches (which I rarely do, and hilariously, the one I first drew was the one my giftee chose), then the most wrong - to - final colors i’ve ever done with a sketch… before I realized rand and cadsuane would be so green-red I thought the background would be more blue instead of gray. Also I was playing around with a brush.
Anyway can’t trust my sketches to be an accurate representation of final product apparently haha. Number 2 still amuses me so much.

Fuckinf. Finally. I did it. I built the koi lantern and then immediately messed up the led light inserting so now it has a surgical scar (tape)

Joining the flower basket coaster trend 1000 years late. Not pictured here the two prior Unperfect Attempts as I discovered, one, I disliked the flowers from the pattern I was following (twice) and the base I was using that I liked the best didn’t fit the flower pattern I ended up using (too big. Once. Still like it though)
My friend fell in love with the prototype/petal experimentor and coincidently it fits her mug aesthetic perfectly??? Couldn’t have planned this if I tried
More progress has been made! Actually there’s four now but three looked more aesthetically pleasing in the pic.
I’m moving so I’m making a bunch of these for friends to reduce weight costs. Would anyone on tumblr be interested in buying a set of flower pot coasters? I was thinking $50 usd per set of four + pot (that is, $10 usd per item) and shipping…
