As much as I want to just share this artwork with no negativity attached, this is my only way to reach out to people who aren’t usually exposed to this information. As I was working on this piece last night, multiple russian ballistic missiles have struck my home city of Kyiv, Ukraine. Those missiles are exceptionally fast and nearly impossible to interrupt with the air defence capabilities available to us. And considering their speed, there is no time to prepare and hide - you usually barely have a minute after the air raid alert sounds off. Currently russians are attacking our critical infrastructure, trying to destroy our electricity and heating before the upcoming winter, this has nothing to do with the front line and is specifically done to harm civilians and make our country unliveable. Another thing that was destroyed in a neighbouring district was a kindergarten. A day before they targeted a kindergarten in Kharkiv, but during the day, so the children were inside (thankfully they managed to hide and survived), though both attacks were still lethal to several adults. Please don’t forget what is done to us. Sometimes it just feels like screaming into the void. ____________
