One time I accidentally stumbled upon a tumblr communities group full of proshippers and in my vivid cold rage I managed to block ALL 500+ MEMBERS OF THE DAMN GROUP in under a day. No mercy, no forgiving, I never wanted these people to ever touch me. I was a master hater.

As I was blocking i noticed the scariest thing about the group: there were a lot of 15 year olds with roblox and cookie run characters as pfps and weird typing quirks hanging out IN THE SAME SPACE as 40 year olds who openly talk about and reblog their diaper fetishes on main. There weren't any safety guardrails in place to make sure these kids won't interact with the openly nsfw adults, which is... so fucking bad. "Safe space" my ass

The proship community is just an endless ouroboros of groomers and the kids they groom, who turn into new groomers who groom new kids, over and over, and yet there are people who are in complete denial about this shit even happening

its pretty insidious because a lot of the people criticizing these are part of communities that the bigots and other harmful groups their opposition tries to paint them as target on the regular. im fairly sure this is all a part of making sure that the more vulnerable people in those communities dont try to leave or see the harm theyre causing to them
