This was a blink and you’ll miss it type of moment in the manga but I think it was a bit more obvious in the anime. Twilight kicked Yuri in the balls. Pretty hard from the looks of it too. And Yuri shook it off like it was nothing.
Raised by Yor’s violen…er, love and affection!
Also wonder if Twilight felt any vindication from finally delivering a beatdown on the #1 annoyance in his current mission. Payback for all the broken door locks he’s had to fix, insults he’s had to choke back, friendly smiles he’s had to fake…
The other day, a thought came to mind: Twilight's father...couldn't be alive?? 🤔 We never saw him ACTUALLY die on screen, so my mind entretained the thought because it felt like the kind of dramatic plot-twist that would bring SO much tension if it we're true! But in the end found it too impossible...until yesterday I found a video on YouTube with EXACTLY that same theory, saying that the Captain (the direct superior of Yuri)...might just be the one 🫡 And holy sh*t, the theory...actually makes so much sense that is even scary 😨💦 Then it came back to my mind: the potential, the angst, the drama...!!
...and the silly moment because I can only seeing the reveal happening by the end of the story 😂💦
Extra:
When Loid helps Barbara move into her’s and Sigmund’s apartment after he’s wandered off, she gets Loid talking about himself and his family. He tells her the made up story about him going to medical school and about raising Anya.
When Loid talks about Yor though, he speaks endlessly about how much of an amazing wife and mother she is. His true feelings for her shining through as he talks about how cute it is when she scrunches her nose when she’s focused on a task and how he adores her laugh. Barbara smiles as he continues his adoring rambling.
“It’s so lovely that true love is alive and well in your generation,” Barbara says, “You seem to have found your soulmate, Mr. Loid. Be sure to cherish her.”
Loid blushes as he realizes he let too much emotion through.
When Yor and Anya return home with Barbara’s husband, Sigmund, Barbara pulls Yor aside as they all head inside.
“Dear, your husband is so charming! He speaks so highly of you! I can tell that he really loves you. You should go in and give him a big kiss!” Barbara swoons. Yor feels her face grow warm.
Yor freezes. “He- he- WHAT?!”
