Dimple's character arc is intimately connected to his status as a spirit. He can't relate to others "like him", since he is full of life and can't bear the idea of living an empty existence, but he can't find company in most humans because they literally can't see him. The overlap between these groups, espers, aren't reliable connections, either. They tend to see him as a pest, dismiss him, ridicule him and even try to exorcise him without thinking twice, as if Dimple is just a nuisance and not a person with feelings and dreams of his own. No matter what he does, no one knows who he truly is. When Dimple is acknowledged at all, he is reduced to an annoying ugly thing whose thoughts don't matter, because he is just an evil spirit. He'll never be respected as a person, so his only chance at getting positive attention is becoming a god, as nothing can be superior than him at this point and so everything is obliged to adore him.
That's the reason I think that if Dimple was a living human, he'd be a parody of the "annoying reformed minor villain that is comically unimportant and always loses"
Could you imagine living with the awareness you're completely disposable to others. That the world doesn't care if you're alive or not and that the few people who know you exist could kill you just because you bothered them a little. That's what you are to them? A bother? Even though they know you have the same human mind as them? Yet for reasons beyond your control your thoughts and feelings are deemed meaningless enough that you don't even deserve a funeral. No one will mourn you. No one will remember you, because there is no point in caring for the comic relief loser guy.
No wonder Dimple wanted to be god!
Founders react to Hatake cabbage babies in 4k 100% real no fake
If u want context here’s my shitty Hatake Lore comic
“So this fic has been abandoned but you should read it anyways because…” hold up. Have you not been reading all promising fics regardless of completion this entire time
Today I learned that an alarming number of yall are filtering fic by “completed works only” which is WILD to me because some of the best shit I ever read was incomplete. Just like how some of the best friendships fade, the best experiences end, the best partners pass away before you’re ready. Nobody wants good things to end but they do and that doesn’t make them less meaningful. And sometimes a tree must be nurtured before it can grow
Another piece for @fanartfrenzy! Art for In Boxes by @recklessracoon, a Mob Psycho 100 × SCP Foundation crossover fic.
"It is important to remember that despite it's abilities SCP-6532 has the same psychological needs as any non-anomalous child."
Second version below. TW! EYES
in the river (if u saw this no u didnt)
When Izuku looked up, the stars were dimmed by light pollution but he could still see what Hizashi wanted him to see. There were thousands, millions even, of tiny bright lights in the sky. Some larger or brighter than others, forming shapes in the sky.
First art of @fanartfrenzy! For a fic with fewer than 500 words, I got inspired by @commanderstarry's work! "Are you watching?"
As much as I love dadzawa content, yamadad deserve more love. It's part of their series of DadDecember drabble featuring aizawa and yamada, and I'm having fun reading through them. I love how attentive and caring they are as parents. Eventual pairing is IzukuxHitoshi, with Shota being Hitoshi's adoptive father and Hizashi being Izuku's. Check it out if you like!
