Ok so bear with me bc I haven't read WoF all too recently.

What if...dragonet prophecy au?

Y'know how Glory has to appear like a Skywing in front of the other tribes during Brightest Night(I believe it was this book)? Ok ok so that but with Rumi. She's the 'replacement' for the skywing egg that was destroyed. And like later on Glory becomes the Queen(this follows with the Kpop royalty statement) of two tribes. Nightwings and Rainwings, arguably the most opposite tribes, she gets them to coexist( goes along with the half demon Rumi)

And like y'know how the dragonets were very sheltered? Yeahhh

And like Cestrel(is that the skywing guardian's name?) could be Celine

And like

Zoey could be Sunny, with the similarities of them being of two different groups

And like Mira could be....ehhh

I feel like starlight would be a good fit?

With the fact that Startlight's parents did care about him, Mastermind for this case since his mother died before he met her, but y'know didn't know how to show it?

Or could it be Clay? Since Clay's mother kinda sold him to the Talons of Peace and didn't really care about him? And his father is kinda never mentioned?

Tsunami maybe? She was taken from home but I don't feel like she's a good match?

Regardless I feel like I've gone off on a tangent and completely missed the point of the original post

I think Tsunami would be a good fit for Mira because they share an intensive/aggressive way of showing others they care for them, Tsunami being more aggressive while Mira is just blunt, mostly.

When Tsunami returned to the Sea Queendom, it’s clear that Coral is disappointed in how Tsunami isn’t how she pictured/doesn’t align with her headcanons, and I imagine that’s how Mira’s parents could be due to her being the ‘black sheep’.

Even in appearance, they’re similar, with both having spikes and sharp edges (graphic novel Tsunami) as the main shape in their design.

Dragonet Prophecy au-wise, I think Rumi is Glory (more or less), Zoey is Sunny, Mira is Tsunami, Celine is Kestrel, the Saja Boys could be the alternate dragonets and Gwi-Ma is Morrowseer

But I am interested as to who would be who for the alternate dragonets

I feel like Jinu would be Flame, since he's the leader of the group and other similarities

I'm kind of lost for the other ones tho

Jinu/Flame- yes, absolutely. I thought Fatespeaker for a second, but she would never betray Rumi like Jinu did, so Flame is the best fit

Baby/Squid- Baby/Squid in this au would definitely be less wimpy than Squid in canon. This is mostly colour scheme-based.

Abs/Ochre- He gives MudWing

Romance/Viper- Romance always gives off the vibe he would stab someone with little hesitation or reason- I’m not sure if anyone else gets that

Mystery/Fatespeaker- A less talkative version of Fatespeaker would make sense for Mystery, so he could just blend into the darkness and occasionally give ominous warnings

Gwi-Ma/Morrowseer- self-explanatory, I think, but they’re both the Big Bad in charge of the five “antagonists”. Give Morrowseer some pink sparkle and they’d even look the same.

I already reblogged a reblog of this, but I also have thoughts for the original post. If we’re going off personality (which, let’s be honest, is pretty monotonous for all members of the same tribe in WoF) then I’d agree with your Rumi points, but perhaps change HiveWing for SeaWing. I think Mira would be a SandWing in one way or another, perhaps as a Sand/Sky hybrid, and I think she’d have noble connections. Zoey, however, gives off MudWing in most ways. She’s close with her chosen family, fights alongside them, and seems like she would enjoy existing in a bog. RainWing sounds accurate for her as well, so maybe she’s a Rain/Mud hybrid, or maybe Sea/Mud due to how she seems to like turtles.

However, if we’re basing this on appearances, Rumi would definitely be a NightWing hybrid of some sort with some form of NightWing powers, assumed long-lost after the Big Bad (Darkstalker (maybe Gwi-Ma). Maybe IceWing on her other side. Mira would be a SkyWing, although she could definitely be one with abnormal colouring, making her more pink and therefore more attention-grabbing. For Zoey, I think just NightWing would make sense, but in a similar way to Peacemaker. 90% NightWing, 10% RainWing.
