i know we don't like twn here, but as an avid long-term fan of your Regis artwork, i wonder if you have any thoughts on Lawrence Fishburne playing him in s4? i'm really conflicted about this because i love his acting, but Regis is just not his role (to me), and it's really hard to criticize twn without attracting all sorts of bigots or sounding like one...

  • definitely hard to say as I staunchly do not watch/think about twn, or have even seen lawrence fishburne in anything (I am aware of matrix & hannibal. I have not watched either). so I can’t really comment on his acting in relation to regis! though honestly even if they had cast the most reach-into-my-brain, this is-my-regis-vision actor in the world, my faith in those scripts is rock bottom. I’m not expecting lawrence to be able to salvage anything because I’m expecting his characterization to be shot on introduction

    I will say from my limited understanding of fishburne’s acting, he’s an um actual actor though. going to be so funny pitting him against the lesser hemsworth
