i haven’t really talked about this much, but basically a very close friend i’ve known for going on 7 years is in a coma. my friend cherry overdosed on heroin that was provided by her piece of shit boyfriend and has been comatose since october fourth. she previously survived a plane crash back in 2015 or so and has lived in an abusive home that drove her to self-medicate using drugs. her father, who she lives with, is very poor and the two of them have been living off of welfare for probably ten years because he is in poor health. she was being kept at the hospital here in my town until about last week when she was moved to seattle, which is a two hour drive away. her father can barely afford gas and groceries, let alone the humongous medical bills that will surely be coming. as far as i know they are on state health insurance, which only covers so much. i initially did an art giveaway for people who donated via my instagram, but it only raised a little less than $50. i myself am poor and have to pay around $300 a month in bills, so i can’t afford to donate a lot myself. anything you can donate helps. any amount. her gofundme is here, (with her legal name, fair warning) and the paypal being used is [email protected]. please, please spread this around. even if you can’t donate, spread this. i miss her so fucking much and she has so many loving supportive friends doing everything they can to visit her and support her father financially. thank you for reading this.
