Hi hi I’m Chronic✨

Im a disabled artist ✌🏻

Mainly an OC artist/illustrator and character designer but I work with a bunch of different mediums too. I’m working on building my own universe for a story I’m working on so that’s where I’m focused!

‼️Don’t share or repost my art without permission and credit‼️ No A/I or NF/T‼️ Don’t heavily reference or otherwise steal my designs-taking inspiration and making fanart should I ever be so lucky is okay, however!

I’m kinda bad at social media so I haven’t been posting that much over here but I’m workin on it you can find me on Bluesky (mild NSFW warning) and Instagram (although I’m most active on Bluesky)

Small list of what I do:

  • Digital art
  • Traditional art
  • Handmade jewelry
  • Crystal bone art
  • Gel nail art

I also will make random props and costume pieces and do character makeup very sparingly. I like to try at just about anything artistic so there’s a possibility I’ll do random one off projects and such at some point.

I am however planning on getting more into BJD customizations once I have the room to do it ^-^

Here’s a random sampling of my art

Content Warning: Animal bones below the cut (they are ethically sourced, craft grade and fully cleaned)

I think u should start writing your original story btw. I want to read it.

addition: I understand wanting to wait until things feel Right to write. but as someone who also contends with adhd and The Situations there is not going to be a time where it magically feels perfect to write. "I'll do it someday / later / when..." is an endless delay. you've gotta crack open a document and write something even if it sucks ass because if you don't get your brain used to the habit it's not gonna stick. the time you can start is Now.

If you wait until you feel like you’re good enough at your art form to start making something Bigger™️ with it, you will NEVER feel good enough.

Start when you feel subpar, when you feel mediocre at it!! Think of everyone else you’ve seen Doing The Thing and have thought that they aren’t that good at it either. Every badly written book you’ve read, every poorly drawn comic strip, every poorly paced form of story telling you’ve ever seen, every badly mastered song with odd lyrics and be like them! Do it badly! Do it inconsistently and out of order! But by the gods please just DO IT!

We need more creativity and people putting themselves out there to be seen. We need more art made by real humans who care about what they’re making. We need more humanity in the things we consume. We need your art, too. We need you

i really do genuinely think people underestimate the power of spore for helping you figure out the shapes of a little guy. if you're pretty skilled at spore and have a good concept of anatomy and 3D space, you can make a pretty serviceable reference for volumes and perspective. i've been using it to help me draw robots lately, and i've used it in the past to make a perspective reference model for an art piece. people absolutely do not give spore enough credit for how powerful its character creator can be

20 Ways Characters Show Vulnerability Without Admitting It

Showing vulnerability is risky: it's weakness, it's fear, it's revealing one's flaws.

Showing vulnerability is a core part of driving the plot or character development, whether they're building relationships or force them to make choices they wouldn't normally do.

Exposing your character's doubts and insecurities shows the reader that your character is real and has depth.

Here are 20 ways you can create tension by showing vulnerability in your characters through actions:

  1. Letting someone see them exhausted instead of pretending they’re fine.
  2. Admitting they don’t know what they’re doing and not joking about it.
  3. Whispering secrets to objects instead of people.
  4. Holding back tears, not because they’re strong, but because they’re scared.
  5. Accepting help and apologizing for it at the same time.
  6. Taking a deep breath before speaking, as if bracing for impact.
  7. Sitting closer than necessary, then freezing when noticed.
  8. Saying “you don’t have to” when they desperately want them to stay.
  9. Letting their voice crack.
  10. Sharing something small first, testing the ground. Alternatively, sharing small joys to test if it's safe to share bigger ones.
  11. Watching the other person’s reaction instead of finishing the sentence.
  12. Fidgeting with sleeves, rings, or scars they usually hide.
  13. Letting silence stretch instead of filling it with humour.
  14. Admitting they were hurt without assigning blame.
  15. Avoiding eye contact while speaking about something personal.
  16. Trusting someone with a truth they don’t fully understand yet.
  17. Hesitating before touching, afraid of rejection. Their hands hang in the air for a moment as if waiting for permission.
  18. Saying “I don’t want to be alone” instead of “I’m fine.”
  19. Letting someone touch them in a way they usually resist.
  20. Smiling through pain, hoping no one notices the cracks.

“Perhaps you’d like to see my pets. They were ALL … rescues.”

“And as always, gentlemen, our profits will be … donated.”

“Oh, I wish I could stay and chat, but I’m afraid I have to take my friend to the airport.”
