i love when i tell people i like parasites and they're like "bet you wouldn't feel that way if you had one" girl first of all i wouldn't hate on my parasite for like. being a parasite. second of all i'd be OBSESSED with my parasite if i had one. i'd make it half my personality. im already tumblr user fishparasite can you imagine what i'd be like if i had a parasite. sure it would suck but it would also be so awesome. i'd be borderline OBNOXIOUS about it.
i mean this is just the parasite version of "ummmmm haven't you heard of PRIONS" like ok man

I don’t believe videogames have made anyone violent but they definitely have made me take a much longer time to realize how wildly unsafe this was. I’m not saying I couldn’t tell, just saying that the gun had a visible muzzle flash that was a fireball bigger than this guy’s whole helmet and it was five minutes before it dawned on me that is like… not… good. I mean it’s great, but also, not good.

Pretty absurd that people can even get food poisoning. That food gets crushed up and then pushed into a pouch full of hydrochloric acid. Bonkers that that isn't a more foolproof sterilisation system.
I guess it's reasonable that some of the pathogen-produced toxins can survive it but still. I'd expect it to take out more of those too.
Humans: I put all my food in a bag of sterilising juice!

The vulnerability comes from the fact that we cannot use sterilising juices that would dissolve us. The existence of organic something that could survive sterilising juice is both an exploitable weakness and non-negotiable requirement
That's why we do the fire part outside the body I guess
And at a safe distance or with proper insulation! I tried it with neither, once. Very exciting! Would not recommend.
