generally a lot of the people on this site actively like madness to an extent even if it's not their favorite thing ever. but that in combination with the full on madness fans generally makes it the most popular?
ik FNF is a thing, and it's still relatively popular. but that got popular outside of newgrounds, and people migrated to newgrounds because of it and not because of what newgrounds has to offer. not a bad thing mind you, but just how it is.
but obviously things are still popular here, tankmen, pico being big examples. i just remember joining newgrounds because of madness combat and staying for all the animations done about it initially and i'm still a big fan of the series even now that my taste has branched out.
