oh… what hasn’t happened to her.

let’s start from the beginning. you already know that she was with gabriel and pregnant with his child. so, to make the summary as short as possible, andres was never able to stop the wedding. she found out everything gabriel had done, and now, in this new season, she’s had his son (make a wish on that because the baby is alive). she’s forced to live with gabriel, but she has julia with her (her other daughter, who doesn’t know anything about what’s really going on). the context of all of this is that she was at the big house and had ignored the fact that she was having contractions. then things escalated, and she had to give birth with luz’s help. the next day (this scene), she was quite emotional and wanted to be with luz (who reminds her that, besides being a doctor, she’s also her friend). this time, the tears aren’t from sadness, but from letting go of everything she’s been holding inside. heartbreak, abuse, lies coming to light, something that finally turns out well (so far, because well, it’s a novela), and etc. etc. and also because she hadn’t been able to sleep well.
