I still think it’s objectively fucked how the world is built for morning people and if you wake up later than everyone else you’re seen as a malicious aberration of some sort. I am that but it’s not because I wake up at 11 fuck yourself
To me, there are several different species of car/truck guy.
Materialistic truck/car guy who has a $50k+ new vehicle he does not need for work, he can barely afford and he purchased as a status symbol and expects everyone to be soooo impressed by his smalldickmobile? Sucks. Horrible guy. Makes it his entire identity. Financially irresponsible, usually an asshole driver and parker because nothing matters but his vehicle, usually extremely vapid and unpleasant.
Shitbox car/truck guy who really loves his 15+ year old piece of shit vehicle and is keeping it on the road through thoughts and prayers and is attempting to soup up his 2002 Chevy? Down to earth, resilient, usually capable of helping you with your car problems because he has had every car problem imaginable, humble, often much more interesting than materialism car guy.
It’s the same for vintage vehicles too, the guy who bought a fully restored muscle car just to show it off sucks ass but the guy who has spent 5 years slowly rebuilding a ‘68 Chevrolet Chevelle he found rusted out on Facebook marketplace is a car guy I can respect.
choosing to ignore my weirdly symbolic dream because i have a lot going on rn already
[on the verge of defeat and delirious with lust] i could be a wound in your heart that will never heal

i’m going to spare you all from having to read the repulsive garbage matt walsh spewed to garner this reply, but god damn if this isn’t a precision orbital strike
Anyway everyone shut up and start being vocal about trans men's rights to reproductive care. The amount of trans men and mascs I've talked to who are horribly mistreated and abused in OBGYN offices is so fucked. Listen and care about us.
Women nurses and gynaecologists seeing their trans men patients as an opportunity to punish in-effigy every man who has ever been unsympathetic about how painful even "routine" gynaecology can be, is a genuine plague that we are ill equipped to deal with.
On my string of problematic posting:
I don't think you can properly express to someone who isn't transfemme how seeing a gag about someone disgusted and vomiting over a body like yours over, and over, and over again in every fucking piece of media in the early 2000s
"Media depictions of trans women, whether they take the form of fictional characters or actual people, usually fall under one of two main archetypes: the “deceptive transsexual” or the “pathetic transsexual.” While characters based on both models are presented as having a vested interest in achieving an ultrafeminine appearance, they differ in their abilities to pull it off. Because the “deceivers” successfully pass as women, they generally act as unexpected plot twists, or play the role of sexual predators who fool innocent straight guys into falling for other “men.”
Perhaps the most famous example of a “deceiver” is the character Dil in the 1992 movie The Crying Game. The film became a pop culture phenomenon primarily because most moviegoers were unaware that Dil was trans until about halfway through the movie. The revelation comes during a love scene between her and Fergus, the male protagonist who has been courting her. When Dil disrobes, the audience, along with Fergus, learns for the first time that Dil is physically male. When I saw the film, most of the men in the theater groaned at this revelation. Onscreen, Fergus has a similarly intense reaction: He slaps Dil and runs off to the bathroom to vomit.
The 1994 Jim Carrey vehicle Ace Ventura: Pet Detective features a “deceptive transsexual” as a villain. Police lieutenant Lois Einhorn (played by Sean Young) is secretly Ray Finkle, an ex- Miami Dolphins kicker who has stolen the team’s mascot as part of a scheme to get back at Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino. The bizarre plot ends when Ventura strips Einhorn down to her underwear in front of about twenty police officers and announces, “She is suffering from the worst case of hemorrhoids I have ever seen.” He then turns her around so that we can see her penis and testicles tucked between her legs. All of the police officers proceed to vomit as The Crying Game’s theme song plays in the background."

said this on bluesky but:
i genuinely encourage non black people to engage with this, who might be worried they can't because of the word "nigga" because they feel like it's overstepping. the only way it would be overstepping is saying it to me when ur not black, but please don't be afraid to engage with black art.
i kinda get annoyed when non black people police other non blacks on how to engage with black culture because it creates a problem where non black people avoid us all together which can be extremely isolating and create even MORE tension and overall being uneducated.
It sure says something that wish fulfillment for trans women is usually just people being kind to them and treating them like human beings deserving of love and respect.
Reading gender bender fiction as an egg, “Oh, this is so sexy, this boy has been turned into a girl and now has to do all these girl things! This makes me feel feelings!”
Reading gender bender fiction after the egg cracks, “Oh, I am going to sob. People see this trans woman as a woman and accept who she is without question or abuse. I would give anything to be worthy of such unconditional love.”
Apparently ICE now has agents posing as utility workers to get into people's homes. The electric and gas companies have posted information on how to tell if it's one of their workers, and numbers to call to confirm whether they've sent someone to do utility work on your house.
Stay safe, friends.
