happiness in small things

Good day :)

I'm feeling nostalgic. I rewatched the scene with the proposal and the events that preceded it. I realize everyone has written about it. :)

Carla is at the factory, so commanding, strong, and beautiful. She's upset, but hides it behind a stern demeanor. The sound of a police car siren irritates her. But how quickly her face changes from sternness to concern when Betsy appears, out of breath and agitated. The sound of the sirens, Betsy—it all adds up to anxiety; God forbid something happens.

First, she needs to figure out the situation, and then decide whether to panic or not. So she resolutely walks out into the street, and behind her, and it's sweet, are all her employees. The ones she was yelling at not long ago. Like a general calling them to battle, and his deputy is marching with his army. Although it would be better to say "Mama Duck with her ducklings."

The climax, the proposal itself. It was amazing, there are no words to describe it.

Good day everyone. :) Sorry for any mistakes, English isn't my native language. I'd like to share my thoughts on everything.

I stumbled across scenes from "Coronation Street" purely by chance, and as it happens, it just took off. I'll say right away that I don't watch the show itself, and it's not shown here, either. I only follow certain characters' plots on YouTube. :)

That was the introduction, and now the thoughts themselves. Let's get started.

For a long time, I've been puzzled by how Lisa could have gotten stuck in such a marriage for 20 years. From the information we've received, we see scandals, manipulation, and violence.

It's possible that it all revolves around money. There's nothing to take from Lisa; she's a modest person and dresses accordingly. As for Rebecca—according to Lisa, we know Rebecca wasted money and didn't keep track of her finances. Someone who clearly has a source of funding other than the salary of a regular police officer would do that. It's possible, as a regular police officer, most likely only at the beginning of her career, Lisa could have seen or heard something about corruption among certain colleagues. Questions might have arisen.

Perhaps Rebecca was introduced to her to spy on her and find out what was going on. That's a different story. Lisa is shy, modest, beautiful, an introvert, with few or no friends.

Basically, Lisa could have been under surveillance. This surveillance lasted for 20 years. Controversies about corruption arose.

At some point, things got worse. Rebecca escaped, with a cover story. Most likely, everything was planned in advance.

At some point, she needed money. Knowing that Betsy had a decent amount of money in her account, no one would give it to her. Officially, she's dead. Lisa is Betsy's legal guardian until she comes of age; if she shows up, there will be questions and unwanted attention.

She resurrects carefully when her daughter comes of age. We tell the story and everything is ready. But the plan goes awry when Carla Connor appears in the Swains' lives, forcing Rebecca to take risks. The outcome is the same, one she never imagined. Rebecca is behind bars, and in addition to the corruption that must be proven, she faces a real prison sentence for kidnapping and endangerment.
