The thing that upsets me, personally, is that Stella never eats. We don't know Stella's favorite food. Her personal space is a tiny closet that's out of the way of everyone else, no improvements or personalization available. Even in the end, she rows alone.

Not to be that guy who grasps at straws to defend my favourite mass-murderer, but like… do we have any actual evidence to suggest that all the things v!Scott said he did were true?

Like we know Owen’s massacre definitely happened because we see the ruins of the town, but Scott was far back enough that nobody really knows much about him aside from Owen vaguely recognising the name “Goldsmith”.

And we have several confirmed cases of Scott making shit up about his backstory to other people. We don’t have anything to corroborate that he’s as old as he says he is, or as powerful as he says he is, or that he committed any of the atrocities he claimed he did.

(And yes, I know Scott did bad things to the town of Oakhurst in the show that we actually see. I’m not saying he’s not a terrible person, just that we should take everything he said he did before the events of vsmp with a pinch of salt).

I’d love to read (I might have to write) an AU where Scott’s just. Lying about everything. Perhaps he’s a new fledgeling that stumbled into Oakhurst and took his transformation nap in this old crypt, woke up and made up a lie about having been in a cursed slumber for 600 years. Perhaps he’s some theatre kid who’s trying to see how much he can bullshit everyone. Perhaps he gets lost in it and doesn’t realise how much damage he’s caused until it’s all over.
