I’ve been basically only reading Dispatch fanfic for the past few months, and before that I was reading mostly RDR2 fanfic, so reopening the Disco Elysium tag on ao3 and immediately finding so many RECENT fics with hella interesting summaries…

Okay, I came up with this idea while half asleep so if it’s OOC, forgive me.

Transmasc Flambae, right? I was randomly thinking after reading some fics about how he’d take testosterone— gel, injection? Then it hit me how funny it’d be if Flambae was afraid of needles.

He can’t use the gel because it burns off his skin whenever he uses his power, but he’s fucking terrified of needles. Gets physically ill just watching someone else get a shot, even if it’s on TV. Of course he’d never tell anyone. God knows how he was transitioning before but as soon as he gets close with Prism, she’s the one doing his shots for him.

So anyway, fic idea where Prism is somehow unavailable and Robert has to give Flambae his shot. Flambae trying to act put together but he’s being really quiet and fidgety, can’t even look at Robert holding the needle or he’s sure he’ll bolt. Robert rubbing circles on Flambae’s knee with his thumb, gentle tone as he praises him. Flambae blushing and threatening to kill Robert if he tells anyone his secret (the needles thing, not the trans thing). Bonus points if Robert is also transmasc, but much less open about it then Flambae (Chad wears a suit that purposefully shoes off his top surgery scars vs Robert binding/taping for unhealthy amounts of hours, etc.).

This idea could also be cute if you replace Robert with Waterboy (it’d be a funny juxtaposition for someone like Herm to be super comfortable with needles, maybe his grandma has diabetes or smth).

Y’know, there could’ve been a world where Dutch sent Sadie (and maybe Kieran) into Blackwater to retrieve the money. Both of them weren’t known members of the Van der Linde Gang and wouldn’t be easily recognizable, and Sadie didn’t have any criminal record we are aware of pre-house fire. But then again they didn’t trust Kieran with anything, and I wouldn’t trust Sadie not to try and stir up trouble (aka try and get herself shot) while in Blackwater.

Then again, I’m also forgetting the fact Sadie would probably kill Kieran if left alone with him.

i just completed RDR2’s story. I’ve been playing it around a year on and off. I could’ve finished it MUCH sooner, but I spent a good few months procrastinating in both Ch2 and Ch6 because I knew bad things would happen to Arthur.

I went in basically knowing everything that was going to happen and it still impacted me heavily. My dad knew what was going to happen too, and he still teared up watching Arthur’s death scene. My dad usually isn’t someone to grow attached to characters, but we are both so so so in love with Arthur. And John, who I previously had a mid reaction to, grew on me heavily by the end. I can’t imagine how emotional we’d both be if we played the game completely blind.

I know it’s been said before but RDR2 is one of the best games of all time. Its characters and world have helped me through a lot this year (and helped me and my dad connect further) and I’m forever grateful it exists.

Okay, since college I’ve gained probably about fifty pounds? Which pushes me over 200 ish pounds (i’m 5’5” or 165 cm tall). And it’s become significantly harder to find clothes that fit, especially second hand which I used to love doing (I’ve had a history of difficulty with shoe sizes and pants sizes before but now it’s my whole body). And now any clothes I have that still fit are now not oversized like they used to be and it’s fucking with my dysphoria/dysmorphia. Long story short, does anyone have any recs for that have cool plus sized clothes? Online preferably, in person works too. Second hand preferably but obviously I’m being optimistic thinking I’d find much like that secondhand, so anything works.
