hi friends! I have been doing a bit of writing lately that I would love for you to read if you want. It’s a NSFW work about a DnD character of mine, and a DnD character of my friend’s.

Summer, my character, is a noble Satyr knight who was once the vassal of a mean and sadistic princess, and now he’s trying to figure out who exactly he is and what he wants.

Mayfly, my friend @planetarytransformation ‘s character, is a plucky rogue with a mysterious backstory and an ass that won’t quit.

Together the two of them will have many misadventures. You can read the first that I’ve written here. My tagged friend has also written several, and there will be more to come.

every time there's another post about how science is malebrained and the superior feminine way of understanding the world is via bullshit woo i like to imagine a 1920s misogynist nodding along thoughtfully whilst stroking his beard

food didn't used to spoil if you left it too long, this is actually the result of planned obsolescence. because of capitalism.

when you’re having a period cramp like a knife mixing up your guts but you’re on public transit so you gotta act normal

I want to write a book called “your character dies in the woods” that details all the pitfalls and dangers of being out on the road & in the wild for people without outdoors/wilderness experience bc I cannot keep reading narratives brush over life threatening conditions like nothing is happening.

I just read a book by one of my favorite authors whose plots are essentially airtight, but the MC was walking on a country road on a cold winter night and she was knocked down and fell into a drainage ditch covered in ice, broke through and got covered in icy mud and water.

Then she had a “miserable” 3 more miles to walk to the inn.

Babes she would not MAKE it to that inn.

Are there any other particularly egregious examples?

This book already exists, sort of! Or at least, it’s a biology textbook but I bought it for writing purposes:

It starts with a chapter about freezing to death, and it is without a doubt the scariest thing I’ve read in years (and I read a lot of horror fiction).

This book can be downloaded for free on Researchgate, posted there by the author himself:

first assigned reading in my textile history class is about orientalism and the political appropriation of the paisley print and kashmir shawl by the british written by a south asian researcher

"in this essay i would like to offer a way of reading pattern and textile history as political and ideological" sickos yes ha ha ha yes . jpeg

I love her so much. 2am tears in my eyes right now because im so overcome with emotion over miss vintage ceramic chubby lady sipping tea teabag scrubber soap holder.
