I’m about to try writing fanfics again! I figure with how many years I’ve been reading them, and the half of a bachelors degree in a-field-of-study-dealing-with-mass-communication-I-prefer-not-to-share-with-the-internet, under my belt, they’ll be a bit of a step up from whatever I came up with when I was 12.
(The fanfics will not have as many run-on sentences as this post, btw)

if i had a nickel for every time Lewis Pullman played a character named Bob, who got uwufied into oblivion into mischaracterisation territory I would have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice right? 
My love for pathetic men runs deep, but never has it made me stoop low enough to write them with a discord-kitten-lobotomy
Convinced and concerned half of this fanbase thinks Bob’s bipolar is DID…
My best guess as to why is because fans are just so accustomed to characters with split personalities, like Bruce/Hulk and Marc/Steven/Jake, they assume Bob/Sentry/Void are the same. And, given that Marvel movies aren’t really known for their ✨cinematic poetry✨, to see such a literal shift in Bob’s character they naturally assumed Sentry/Void are separate to him, rather than personifications of Bob’s mania and depression.
