If anybody is looking for some displaced Indigenous people you could help right now, several villages on the western coast of Alaska were recently decimated by a typhoon, like with people's houses floating away. If you have a couple bucks you could spare for them, that would be really great. ❤️

Hey, western Alaska got hit with a typhoon that has sent houses floating down rivers and multiple people have been found deceased. News stations are taking their sweet time covering this. The government is taking their sweet time offering assistance to the impacted communities (are we shocked by this anymore?).

Things like this happening are already horrible on its own, but this happening so close to winter is likely to have long-term consequences.
