(grabs you by the shoulders) you have to make room for new experiences in your life. you have to go through the unpleasant work of leaving your comfort zone, even if just for a few minutes at a time. because if you don't, your brain will trick you into stagnation. you will start to believe that the world can barely fit you in it. but that's not true. it's the opposite way around. you can fit the whole word inside of you. your task is only this: to welcome it with open arms

god I wish I had a pair of menacing black gauntlets with really sharp fingertip claws I bet it feels good as fuck to have your hands resting palm-down on a surface and then scratch some deep fucking gashes into it as you clench your hand a little closer to a fist when your evil minion delivers some bad news to you

ohhh fuck yeah, you understand

I really do recommend doing a beauty purge tho. no makeup, no shaving, no skincare that isn't directly for comfort/actual health issues, just let your body exist in its natural state for a while. a few weeks. a few years. however long it takes to fully internalize the idea that this is an okay state of existence. then if you still wanna start shaving or wearing makeup again you can do so with confidence that you really are doing it because you want to and not because of societal pressure.

some of you have really ran with the (ultimately true) philosophy that nobody is useless/laziness does not exist and have basically fallen way too far into angry learned helplessness and refusal to grow up that you're leaving other equally troubled people in your life to constantly pick up the slack

Like yeah americas reliance on cars in urban planning is fucked but why is your sole act of rebellion not getting a license and making your girlfriend drive you everywhere?
