I’m not a real doctor but I am a real worm

having a blorbo with a normalass name is truly the struggle. is that your john or my john? is that your eddie or my eddie? like help us all

getting mega frustrating terf comments on my post and it's maddening bc they're flat out just wrong + stupid. they utterly refuse to do ANY research and spread complete misinformation about vaginoplasty as a way of trying to fearmonger and judge you out of getting one. so im gonna make a post about it.

THEY'RE LYING! VAGINOPLASTY IS NOT AN ""OPEN WOUND"". it is a real sexual organ. dilation is completely normal and was invented for cis women first anyways- a ton of them have to do it, it's no different just because it's happening to a neovagina. vaginoplasty is a very well-researched surgery that has been done over and over and improved like crazy over many many years. there are even multiple ways to do it now, using several different types of tissue for the creation of the vaginal canal if you want one. anyone seeking vaginoplasty, your vagina will be just that! a vagina! a very real, beautiful, working body part! the body is an amazing thing in that it will accept this new body part and figure out how to take care of it like any other. isn't that so cool? isn't it amazing how adaptable the body is, that it can just learn how to work with new parts like that? i promise you, your vagina will be real, it will work like any other vagina, and it is a very beautiful thing. the fearmongering around bottom surgeries has to stop.

Cop just walked into this Chinese place and was like im here for pickup and pointed to the "we exercise the fourth amendment" sign and said "these losers [ICE] bother you at all?" like even the cops are bothered with them

Extremely funny post but even more relevant tags (via @egberts)

them: hey. please don’t drink tonight. because when you get drunk you start freestyling about the lead singer of new jersey post hardcore band thursday and it’s really embarrassing

me: yeah yeah whatever i’ll be fine

me, half a CBD soda later: uh oh, i’m feeling kinda sickly

btw if youre young and scared of doing adult things without your parents ive learned that like 90% of the time you can just tell the doctors office or the dmv "haha sorry ive never done this without help before... can you show me how to do this?" the employee will not care. if that means anything to you

if you point out modern thinspo people call you parasocial and misogynist

somehow we've circled body positivity back to it is fine to be skinny & if you point out how every celebrity is suddenly getting ozempic you're a bad feminist. if you point out how every next viral trend is about flexing how thin you are then that makes you a bad feminist. if you point out how it's become common to include diet talk in everything under the pretext of healthy habits then you're a bad feminist or god forbid you point out the lengths influencers go to look the way you do then it's their choice & who are you to judge?! like??? what are we even doing??

you tell a skinny person that fat people get bodyshamed and they conjure up this fantasy world where everybody around them is an eighteenth century vaguely european grandmother telling them they need to put some meat on their bones or they won't survive the winter

[new to degrading someone] I can tell that due to adverse childhood experience you're uncomfortable exercising autonomy so as an adult you find comfort in a consensual relationship dynamic with a power imbalance of some sort that puts you in a vulnerable position

there's this phenomenon i've noticed on youtube which i dub "man math" which is when men STEM-ify hobbies/activities/art forms in order to make them more masculine. it's very noticeable in the cooking video sphere where there's an endless stream of videos made by men along the lines of "the SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN best way to cook an egg" (and dgmw, i watch them and find them helpful, but the observation stands), but i notice it also in the way men approach ceramics (a lot of focus on mold-making and slip-casting to perfection, basically reinventing one man mass-production rather than play and discovery), tailoring/sewing/knitting/textile art, gardening and other nature-oriented hobbies, interior decor, furniture making and woodworking, journaling/planning/productivity, even drawing and painting, there's always some man math angle to it that although interesting it often strikes me as some sort of overcompensation to move away from the inherent vulnerability that comes with art making and once you notice it it's literally everywhere

why do you insist on spelling it "amerika" in your tags ?! just go through and say amerikkka you fucking nazi

what

i ??? Amerika is how you spell it ?? in Hungarian ???? which is my native language ?????? and i spell it that when i speak Hungarian ???????? hello ???????????

same energy

Also: people who spell it Amerikkka do so to draw attention to the systematic racist this country was founded on and that still runs through its veins. It's literally not a nazi dog whistle. It's the opposite

slightly furious reminder that fish do in fact feel pain and do in fact experience fear and distress when in pain since people seem to love spreading the myth that fish don't feel pain. what is it with people assuming a creature is incapable of feeling pain or emotion just because it doesn't have complex facial muscles. come on gang

As my main income, I work with fish in a specialty pet store that's privately owned (so I'm allowed to say no and be stern to customers when it's needed).

You learn really quickly that not only do fish have individual personalities and emotions but they also have memories and recognize people! There are certain fish who will only come out for me and hide for everyone else. The pufferfish spits at me because she gets pissy that I haven't fed her. The flowerhorn bites everyone but me and my coworker when we clean his tank. I trained a fire eel to come up and eat directly out of my hand.

Fish are beautiful complex creatures and I thank the universe everyday that I get to work in a place where I'm encouraged to tell animal abusers to fuck right off.

i think a lot of the people who say that warning posts are useless drama-starters that only exist to further harass marginalized/vulnerable people would have more plausible deniability if those type of posts didnt spring up literally every single time a black user pointed out that a white user is racist

and also if the Black user didn't proceed to get racist harassment from the white users followers for pointing out said racism

Black tumblr user: this user is racist, here is proof, and i would prefer it if those who willingly interact with this person after knowing this to keep their distance from me

dashboard for the next 4 days: when you make a callout post for someone you have murdered them. it is the same thing. it is the exact same thing as taking a life. you have killed them forever and you have blood on your hands.
