I wish Lolita fashion could go back to the often grungy, organic feel of the old school stuff. Like you look at those snapshots in GLB and that shit looks lived in. I'm personally a bit sick of the expectations for perfectly matching, every piece bought to match the color and print coord. In all honesty, the more oot stuff often DOES feel costumy to me. You don't have to wear a wig, you don't have to have 10 sets of tea party shoes to match every potential color scheme, and you don't have to plan every coord around a special theme. It's a style, but first and foremost it's clothes.
