Ten years of being a BTS fan: 10 years of Suga fan art :) <3
Meant to post last month in 2025 but didn’t have time!
Anyway I wish this entitled me to a veteran’s discount for the upcoming world tour :’) Best of luck everyone trying for tickets!
Advice for the BTS tour announcement
Just want to remind people the tour will be announced at 12am KST (Korean Standard Time) on the 14th, which means for a lot of us it will actually be on the 13th!
If you’re new to following Korean acts, it takes a while to get used to KST being so far ahead. Here’s a useful website for calculating time zones.
Important points:
- They don’t always announce everything at once, sometimes they announce the first ‘leg’ of the tour, then add more dates later.
- Tickets generally DON’T go on sale straight away. They often start selling tickets a couple of weeks after the tour announcement.
- There may be a 'presale’ period where people with certain fanclub membership levels get to sign up for priority booking codes.
- Before tickets are officially on sale, you might see some vendors selling 'seats’. This is called 'speculative seating’ and it’s important to know these tickets are NOT guaranteed. Some people have success stories with speculative seating, but others have ended up with random seats they didn’t want, or been refunded and lost the chance to get tickets. You can read more about it here.
- Once tickets are officially on sale, you will also find 'resale’ tickets becoming available. Some of these are from more legit resale sites like stubhub, some are coming from scalpers, some are coming from other ARMYs who have a ticket they can’t use. Unless you’re buying from one of the major trusted sites, many people say it’s safer not to use your bank details directly, but use a 3rd party money transfer app like paypal etc. instead.
- Don’t panic, don’t get scammed, don’t spend money you don’t have! Even the 'worst’ seats at a BTS concert are worth it, you don’t need to pay a fortune!
- If you decide to book travel/accommodation in advance, please make sure it’s refundable in case you don’t get tickets or something changes.
- Always be cautious and check for information from official accounts before believing and spreading things around.
Stay calm, stay safe, and ask around if you’re not sure! There are tons of ARMYs on various platforms who will share their knowledge about ticketing. Here is the official megathread about the 2026 tour on reddit, which will be updated as more info comes out.
And finally, if you don’t get tickets I promise you’ll still have an amazing comeback experience! Some of us have been ARMY for many years and never seen them live, but comebacks are still so much fun, we’ll all be here sharing our reactions, links, fancams and memes! The most important thing is to just enjoy it 💜
