Assuming this is a post-COVID dream world, the obvious answer would be in his tony-winning role of JJ Hunsecker in the sweet smell of success revival. If we are going FULL dream land then reprising his role of chilton in Hannibal season four and letting him be a stronger, wiser bitch bent on revenge. But also he should play Harvey Dent/two face in some batman installation because he’s already played a lawyer and knows how to camp the fuck out of every role he does.

Omg very important question…I know he’s too old for it now (and apparently played the role back in Sundance labs) but I would KILL to see him play Bruce Bechdel. Still throwing his name in the hat for Harvey Dent. The thing about Raúl tho is that in his post-Broadway career, he really tends to seek out and prioritize newer projects. Like I bet he wouldn’t have done SSOS if the original hadn’t flopped lol. And it’s crazy to me that he’s playing the Older Roles now (he had a fully grown daughter in Galileo…daddy) I would love to see him do more explicitly queer roles, though. Like homeboy always brings that to the table but let’s get him kissing some boys STAT.
