i know objectively arfid is an eating disorder but there are such strong connotations to the term that i can’t bring myself to say the phrase “i have an eating disorder” – especially not irl as an overweight person. i do have a restrictive eating disorder on a technicality, it’s just that half of my safe foods are unhealthy for a grown man and nobody would believe me if i said i have an eating disorder until they saw my toddler ass diet. eating disorder? bitch im eating dis order. yeah i–
