From now on, I'm going to attempt to structure these with numbers and dates to keep track of the series' history as well as I can! However, this is where the good news ends, unfortunately.
UPDATES
This is going to be very predictable, but... Extinguished will be going on another hiatus, postponing the next chapter. I'll save my ramblings as to why after I finish revealing some other details, for those who only care about when the next chapter will come out.
I'm going to take another month long hiatus, returning in, hopefully, early February at the latest. However, I'm aiming to at least upload the next chapter on December 19th, that way you can learn who the new character is before I go on break. No promises on whether or not this will happen.
I have one last update, and it's another disappointing one. I apologize...
Extinguished's schedule will be changed to twice a month, rather than weekly.
Once the hiatus ends, I will be posting once every two weeks, instead of the pre-established weekly format. Please understand.
WHAT? WHY?!
Oh, right! I said I was going to explain my reasoning, didn't I?
To be frank, I really don't want to type much more, so I'm going to condense my feelings to the best of my ability:
The weekly shedule is too much for me.
...Yup, that's basically it! I simply can't handle posting weekly chapters for prolonged periods of time. It was proving to be a sound practice during the Paradox arc, but after cracking out three chapters, it grew tiresome, and began to feel like chore. Despite how much I hate to spread out such short chapters, I feel that it's better to do it this way rather than continuously throwing out a bunch of chapters back to back and then getting burnt out every two months. That was the whole point of the schedule to begin with, to be fair! So, unless some magical fairy with some serious internal issues casts a spell that completely rids me of burnout entirely, this is how it's gotta be.
