This is our year!

Pairing: Eddie Munson x reader Word Count: 4.9k

Description: Two years after leaving Hawkins behind to chase Eddie’s dreams in LA, you return to Indiana for Dustin’s graduation and get surprised by his speech. Later, in a wholesome reunion at the WSQK rooftop, old friendships rekindle as a small secret waits to slip out.

Warnings/tags: rockstar!eddie, fem!reader, eddie being so husband coded it hurts, extreme levels of fluff, hellfire lives, lots of hugging and reunions, banter, suggestive comments and mentions of pregnancy.

You sigh, arms crossed, foot tapping impatiently on the glossy marble of your bedroom floor. But you get no answer. 

The thick door of your shared dressing room stays shut, despite your complaints. You glance at the clock on the wall, realizing you’re already too damn late thanks to Eddie fixing his hair like you’re going to an awards show.

Since I like to headcanon them around the same age, I can imagine a college AU. Both smart as hell, but Johnny’s the popular one of course. And you get caught up with them on a group project or something. Cue studying sessions and college shenanigans.

Or I also love to imagine Peter as new intern in the Baxter Building, that you’re apparently talking too much interest in according to Johnny. Cue jealousy and more shenanigans haha. Could be a very fun and interesting dynamic to be a part of!

YOU KNOW I love me some love triangle action 🥰 and all jokes aside Peter was my man back in the day, I wrote so much for him 😭 I’m afraid those feelings will come back again when the new Spiderman movie comes out.

Honest “favorite character” asks game 🖤

Thank you for asking this one beacuse this had me realize I actually don’t know absolutely anyone like Eddie 😭 I think the closest I can get to him is the fact that where I live most people have brown eyes lol. Whenever I see someone with cool tattoos it reminds me of him too.

For Johnny there was this guy in college who didn’t look at all like him but I remember he liked records too. That’s not very common so that’s cool! We weren’t friends though so it doesn’t change anything for me.

I’m curious if you do?

Oh my, this one took me a little to think about!!

I feel like if you say agreed that means reader made the decision without bringing it up to him before, and these type of things take time to be decided and see if they’re even possible.

I do believe Johnny will always be okay with whatever reader decides to do with their body (bc it’s their body!) but it’d be a little uncomfortable if they just brought it up when it has already been decided. All in all, if this is what reader wants and he knows Reed and Sue have been trying for years and they really want a baby, he’d be happy in the end (and the best uncle). And you best believe Johnny will get baby fever from that and will want one of his own right after.

I LOVED your predictions/hopes, especially the team up of Johnny with Peter (SpideyTorch my beloved), Scott and Loki {and the idea of a fire-lightning tornado with Thor!}.

And absolutely loved the idea of Sue and Yelena leading together! They will kick so many asses as a team! (I'd also really like to see Sue and Shang-Chi combining their powers in some way! Idk if it's possible, but it would be really cool!)

Since you rightfully point out that Reed will recall Tony to so many people, it made me thought about how Peter will react seeing him work with his brilliant mind (especially now that he has not only lost Tony in the past, but the fact that he's practically all alone now that aunt May is dead too and no one remembers him😭). Also, I think there's gonna be a discussion on genetics between Reed and Professor X, even if there's difference between the F4 (who gained powers from cosmic radiation) and X-Men (being born with the X-gene). We know Reed feels guilty for not foresee and prevent what happened to them, so I'm not saying he's looking for a "cure" now that they really are helpful on their planet, but his curious scientific mind and especially his sense of guilt [which he cannot seem to let go] will certainly lead him to discuss on this topic with Xavier imo (for Franklin's sake at least, considering that every villain wants him and he's in danger again!).

Bob and Ben absolutely need to have scenes together! I can see them cooking together at first, with Ben helping Bob gaining confidence in himself! And the power of The Thing and Void together!

AND least but not last... I need to see a scene of H.E.R.B.I.E. on a mission searching Yelena's guinea pig in the Avengers Tower (my poor soft heart will melt) -> and maybe, at the end of Avengers:Secret Wars, after the Fantastic Four left for their earth, Yelena naming him Herbie or Herbert to remember Sue and the rest of the family

And yeah I feel like Reed resembling Tony could be a huge thing for Peter. !! It’s not just about the knowledge or him being smart but looks wise? Dark hair, dark eyes. He’s not as dramatic as Tony was but Reed sure as hell is snarky too. Honestly already crying for my boy Peter because they really did him dirty last time 😭

I love the idea of Ben helping Bob with some good advice. He’s such a gentle character and a literal rock for the family, I think he has a lot of nice things to bring to the avengers in general.

And omg I hadn’t thought about it but Herbie!!! I can’t wait to see how everyone reacts to him 🤍 once again, would he resemble Jarvis/Friday/Karen? Like a 60’s version of Tony’s AIs!

Geta YES absolutely. That man is my Roman Empire (pun intended) I even have a draft I abandoned a while ago 😅 I feel like writing his whole world is a bit intimidating so I just need to be brave enough to actually do it (but I do think about it a lot 😩)

I love Eric, I think he’s adorable but I haven’t really had a good idea or plot for him so it hasn’t been on my desk tbh.

Reading: Nothing specific, just a bunch of Eddie and/or Steve fics lol.

Last movie: When Harry met Sally. Can’t believe I had never watched it before!! A friend introduced me to it and now I have a long ass Johnny fic planned inspired on it (it’s not that angsty for once lmao). The last one I watched in theathers was Now you see me: Now you don’t. I haven’t watched a movie that bad in years I was so disappointed 😭

Last series: Stranger things season 4 because I missed my dear rockstar boy <3 I also loved Physical Asia on Netflix. It’s more of a contest show but I eat those up every time.

Last song: Careless whisper and Say you say me (I was in a mood okay) Been listening a lot of 70’s-80’s music lately.

Sweet or salty: Sweet always!!

Coffee or tea: None? As someone who lives in a scorching weather I hate drinking hot stuff.

Working on:

- My beloved Lover series. Got stuck in a bit of a writer’s block with it but I’m making it work.

- My new Johnny fic (the one inspired on when Harry met Sally). Mostly outlining and building a playlist because music is gonna be very important in this one. Think it’s gonna take all January since I have a lot of plot planned for it 🥲
