Ferreck Dawn returns to Defected Records alongside revered producer New Machine and established Irish vocalist Maverick Sabre with ‘For The Weekend’.
The Dutch heavyweight producer Ferreck Dawn has had a major year so far, recently releasing ‘Friends Around (Set It Off)’ alongside GUZ, as well as collaborating with MEDUZA, Clementine Douglas and more across the Defected family of labels.
Similarly, New Machine and Maverick Sabre will release their full-length LP as part of YOURS alongside SÓLLER and Jake Hall, following a string of acclaimed releases including ‘DONDÉ ESTÁ’ and ‘LOVE MIGHT MAKE ME BETTER’.
Together, the three artists create throwback charm with ‘For The Weekend’; Maverick’s tight vocals are layered in octaves, looping in ecstasy over Ferreck and New Machine’s hypnotic sub-bass and expansive production touches.
