Belial!! ( ≧∀≦)ノ
Del ran up to him and tackled him.
Belial had been sitting on his desk instead of the chair, eyes scanning the pages around him. At Delphine’s call, he perked up, before Delphine basically tackled him almost onto the desk. One hand went to keep her up and the other hand planted on the table not to fall.
Hello sweetheart.
His gaze went to the papers on his desk before he just looked at her with a smile.
I haven’t seen you in a while.
She cupped his face and pressed a kiss to his nose.
Hihi! Yeah, it has been a while...
Her nose scrunched up. It's been... a month(?) since they've actually seen each other. She's been hiding away a little before Halloween because of what he told her prior.
She sighed and plopped herself on his chair, making herself comfortable.
Um, so what exactly happened during Halloween..? You said it was a bad time for demons. Did I miss a lot..?
Delphine? Del, come on. Wake up.
Del stirred at the sound of a voice. Her head throbbed, and the dizziness made everything spin.
She opened her eyes, and they immediately landed on Belial sitting beside her. She let out a startled scream and tried to jump back. That ended up with her tumbling off the bed, hitting the floor and making her headache even worse.
Oh fuck...
She groaned, holding her head as if it would stop everything from spinning.

He looked over the bed edge, staring down at Delphine with a frown. He clicked his tongue and Bee-Bee appeared, carrying a first-aid kit like it was a trophy as Belial walked up to them.
You passed out. Are you alright?
Bee-Bee got onto her lap, smiling as he looked at her.
There was a look of disgust on her face as she looked at Belial. Why was he here? How dare he show his face?
What the—
Del immediately pushed the thing off her. Was that a mini Belial? What the fuck?
The little guy dropped the first aid kit and almost rolled back from the strength of the push.
Get off! What are you doing here, Belial? And what's that thing?!

Bee-Bee hit the ground, his eyes welling up with tears. Quickly, Belial picked him up, observing him.
Bee-Bee was already starting to sob. He motioned for Bee-Bee to go somewhere quiet and took the kit, turning back to her.
I’m here because you’re hurt. And…that’s Bee-Bee. You love him. Why did you even…push him? That’s not right?
Del watched as the man she hated comforted his mini look-alike. She was so confused. Why is Belial so different? AND WHAT'S WITH THE MINI??? She felt bad that she made it cry, but it looked like Belial so that feeling immediately disappeared.
Oh, so now you care about how I feel? You didn't care like this when you killed Markus. Where was all this back then, huh? You killed him just like that because he approached you first about something. You didn't even tell me what he said that made you do that.
Bee-Bee..? I don't love him, and I pushed it because it crawled on me and it looks like you. I've never met it before.

He paused. Markus? She had forgiven him for that. And why couldn’t she remember Bee-Bee?
….Markus’ death was months ago. Delphine, where exactly does your memory end?
Months...? No, what? It was a few weeks ago.
You know what, I'm leaving. I don't want to be in the same room as you.
She grabbed the edge of the bed and pulled herself up. She was still very much dizzy. She tried to walk to the door but everything was so blurry and her head was pounding.
... never mind. You leave. Get out.
She plopped back down onto the bed and pointed at the door.

No…Delphine, it’s September. It’s been months.
He frowned at the attempt and stood.
If that’s what you wish. Though, if you need me, you should know I’m only a call away. Even when you’re like this
September? What the fuck?
She looked down at her lap, her brows furrowing in confusion. September? How... what? Okay, this was weird. What happened to her? Why was Belial so friendly now, why is it September already, and why does her head hurt so fucking much?
Before he left, she called out to him.
... Belial, wait. What happened to me? Did you do something? I really don't wanna be here with you, but everything is so blurry. How is it September already? Why do you look... so different? You never had those piercings... and...
She mumbled the last bit. Her eyes flickered over his face, scanning every piercing and feature. He had definitely changed. He was somehow more handsome, but uh.. anyways. She cleared her throat and pointed at the nightstand.
And... and why's there a picture of us hugging on the nightstand?
Her eye twitched at she looked at the picture. She wanted to cry. Is the picture AI? It had better be. There's no way she'd be smiling that big in a picture with HIM.

He looked back at her, his voice still quiet but firm, to ensure that he knew he was telling the truth. Despite it being Delphine, this wasn’t the Delphine that he had the previous day. Making her upset was the one thing he didn’t want to do. Who knows what she would do?
But then again, it’s Delphine. She’s not a harmful person.
Either way, Bee-Bee will be kept at a distance along with himself.
I was not involved in this. I will reiterate what I had said before. You passed out and I was alerted when you did. I simply came and picked you up. Set you in bed then you woke up and went loco. I did nothing but what I was supposed to do.
I’m not sure why all of this is happening but I can promise you, you forgave me for my actions. This happened months ago. It’s now…the last week of September, mid afternoon. After everything had happened. But, you’re acting like it’s July still.
He took the picture, looking it over with a softened expression. He set it down, but slightly angled away from her for her own comfort.
We took that picture several days ago, on our first….official date. We’ve been dating for a while, however.
She listened intently. For once. Her eyes were locked on her hands in her lap, brows knitted tightly together.
So, it was September now. Not July. Months of her life have been forgotten. And did he say she had forgiven him? How could she forgive him for what he did to her best friend? This doesn't sound like something she'd do. She didn't want to believe anything that came out of his hot stupid mouth, but... there was evidence. The picture, for one. And his piercings. And his mini lookalike. Fuck.
AND THEY'RE DATING?
Dating? You're... my boyfriend? I'm DATING my best friend's killer? Okay... okay... cool.
She began pacing around the room, mumbling to herself about "okay, I probably went insane", "maybe this is a dream", and "what the fuck".

Down, please. You’ll fall.
He mumbled.
This effect should wear off soon. Or, I can take a look at your soul and fix it.
Oh.
She stopped walking and slowly moved to the bed. Then plop. She sat down again.
Okay. Go ahead. I think.

Belial got onto the bed behind her, a reasonable distance between them. He set a hand on her back and shut his eyes.
You’ll be unconscious for a bit. It’ll feel weird but you won’t die.
He pulled out her soul, and wrapped an arm around her front, so she wouldn’t fall off the bed, instead bringing her back against his own chest. He examined the soul, the hand still tight around her.
Unconsci—
And she was gone before she had even finished the damn word. She lay limp in his arms, her fucking soul in his hand so he could examine what the hell happened to her.

After working on it, and her soul back to normal without the strands around it, he gently inserted the soul back into her body, watching as she jolted awake.
You’re okay. Does anything hurt?
Her eyes snapped open as soon as her soul was back in her body. Her hands grabbed onto Belial's arms, fingers digging into his skin.
Bee... oh my god. I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry..
She buried her face in his neck, her hands moving from his arms to his torso. She kept mumbling apologies into his flesh, tears threatening to spill.
I don't even know how it happened I should've been more careful.. I do forgive you about Markus I swear. Please forget everything I said.
Oh my god, I have to apologize to Bee-Bee. Oh my god.. I hope he's not too upset with me. I'm so sorry for making him cry. Where is he?
She pulled her head away from him, tears running down her cheeks.
Did I do anything else? I've only been out of it for an hour or two... I don't know why I'm panicking so much. I'm sorry.

Bee-Bee appeared, hesitantly moving closer to Delphine. Belial shrugged.
Not especially. Don’t worry about it. Apologize to Bee-Bee. You called him a thing and pushed him.
Oh my god..
She pulled back from Belial and immediately scooped Bee-Bee into her arms. She hugged him tight and pressed little kisses all over his face.
Bee-Bee I'm so so sorry... please forgive me. I wasn't in my right mind. I'm sorry for pushing you and making you cry. You were just worried about me. I love you so much, okay?
Her voice was soft and very shaky. Her hand trembled as she cupped the little guy's cheek.

Bee-Bee thought before nuzzling into her cheek with a smile. He forgave her!
Belial watched them for a moment, before gently letting go of Delphine and scooting away a bit. His eyes went to the the angled frame, narrowing just a bit before setting it face down when Delphine was occupied with Bee-Bee.
She smiled and nuzzled Bee-Bee back. She was so glad he forgave her. She would've spent an eternity trying to make him forgive her though.
She looked over at Belial, her head tilting slightly.
Bee, are you okay?

Belial’s head would snap over to Delphine’s direction, eyebrows furrowing.
I suppose. Are you alright?
His voice hardened to the neutral tone once more as one of his hands messed with the sheets underneath.
Are you sure?.. Why do you look kinda nervous?
She raised a brow, turning her body to face him. Her eyes narrowed at him as she gently patted Bee-Bee's head.
Are you hiding something..?
Delphine? Del, come on. Wake up.
Del stirred at the sound of a voice. Her head throbbed, and the dizziness made everything spin.

I'm sorry.
