Extending the capabilities of GitHub Copilot in your personal account

You can add additional functionality to Copilot in your personal account, by installing certain GitHub Apps from GitHub Marketplace.

About GitHub Copilot 확장 for your personal account

Copilot 확장는 GitHub 계정에 설치하여 Copilot에 추가 기능을 추가할 수 있는 GitHub App 유형입니다.

Anyone can install Copilot 확장 for their personal account, but you must set up Copilot Free, or have an active Copilot Pro or Copilot Pro(프로)+ plan, to use a Copilot 확장 you install.

If you have access to Copilot through a Copilot Business or Copilot Enterprise plan, Copilot 확장 are installed by organization owners at the organization level, and you do not need to install the extension on your personal account. To start using Copilot 확장 installed in your organization, see Using extensions to integrate external tools with Copilot Chat.

Installing GitHub Copilot 확장 for your personal account

  1. Open GitHub Marketplace.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Copilot.
  3. In the list of Copilot 확장, locate an app you'd like to install.
  4. To install the Copilot 확장 on your personal account, see 개인 계정을 위해 GitHub 마켓플레이스에서 GitHub 앱 설치.
  5. Copilot 확장을 설치한 후에는 해당 확장에 고유한 인증 및 온보딩 단계를 완료해야 합니다. 필요한 단계를 완료하려면 확장의 마켓플레이스 목록 페이지 또는 개발자 설명서를 방문하세요.
