Copilot 免费版 is automatically disabled when you have a Copilot 专业版 or Copilot Pro+ plan, or when you are granted a license through an organization or enterprise. If you want to disable Copilot 免费版 without subscribing to a paid plan, you can do so in your IDE and in GitHub.com.

Disabling Copilot 免费版 in GitHub

You can disable Copilot 免费版 in your GitHub account settings. This will disable all features of Copilot on GitHub.

  1. In the upper-right corner of any page, click your profile photo, then click Your Copilot.
  2. Under "Visibility," to the right of "Show Copilot, select Disabled from the dropdown.

Disabling Copilot 免费版 in your IDE

You can partially or fully disable Copilot 免费版 in JetBrains IDEs, VS Code, Visual Studio, and XCode:

  1. Navigate to Configuring GitHub Copilot in your environment.
  2. At the top of the page, select your IDE.
  3. At the top right of the page, under "In this article," select Enabling or disabling Copilot.
  4. Follow the instructions to disable Copilot 免费版 in your IDE.
