—The costumes of the three of you in the work seemed to express each character's personality and were wonderful. Especially Sakamoto, played by Shison, wore luxury brand clothes, which made me feel that he probably likes fashion.
Shison: Actually, half of the clothes Sakamoto wears are my own.
─Oh, is that so! How did you think about expressing and interpreting the character in ways other than through dialogue?
Shison: In the original work, Sakamoto is more focused solely on music, but when creating parts that aren't depicted, I wanted to bring out his identity of having a strong commitment to a specific field. Sakamoto likes instruments. I thought that expressing a character who is obsessed with things could be done through clothing. So, considering the balance with the other two, we decided on this direction for the clothes.
Machida: In the original work, I think Takaoka has an image of casually wearing a white shirt, but this time, since he uses a classic guitar, I thought he might be particular about things. I also felt he really treasures possessions. Given that, I decided vintage clothing would suit him, especially with his long hair, so I had almost all the costumes made vintage to fit his character.
Satoh: Normally, when there are three people, it's easier to understand if their fashion is distinctly different. But the three of us live together in the story. So I thought everything, even clothes, might get mixed up. I imagined Fujitani might just take Sakamoto's clothes without asking and go out. I thought it would be interesting if the boundaries around that were a little jumbled, so that's how I approached it.
Machida: Takeru-kun was with me throughout the costume fitting, and we coordinated everything while consulting each other. When the original author, Wakagi-sensei, came to visit the set, she commented, “Is Takaoka the one cleaning this house?” We paid attention to those aspects as well. Since Takaoka, who is very caring, also looks after Fujitani, he probably mixes and matches a few combinations to save time. x
The recent interviews after the premiere of the series are a treasure trove of information mostly their thoughts about and how Tenblank members approach their work and their characters.
These revelations could also be fan fic fodder.

Manner. Cleanliness. Hard work. Grace. I won't ask for any of that from you. I just want one thing. Show me your unstoppable power. I don't need polite incompetents.
