Great spooky freaky tranced out heavy shit. Everything takes its time, likely sounds great on mushrooms. Guitars are thick like lava that leads to the center of everything, vocals deranged just enough to make you wonder if this is gonna end badly.

I slept on this band for a criminally long time. I think what really grabs me is the versatility on display. Soaring clean vocals, an almost post-punk rhythm section, big-ass drums, even some John Carpenter synths in there… Strong album of the year contender here. Excellent, varied experience here that covers a lot of ground and rewards repeat listens.
