Seeing how uni is going right now, I do have to limit something from my free time somewhere. I will be here and reachable, but I will be very slow in reacting to everything probably. I might even be quite active a few times a month/week, but not on a daily basis. Not that you guys would be missing out on much seeing the very tiny list of content i created in the past year 😂

The year Lando got into F1 was the year I finally fell back in love with F1 and motorsport. It was the year when I had my worst ever time in school, getting ready for my highschool final exams stressed out of my fucking mind, thinking my life is over if I don’t get into the school I planned my next few years around.

This gremlin and this sport gave me back my love for writing, got me genuinely happy to wake up sometimes - as sad as that sounds - and kept me going my first very crucial year in uni, which we had to do in isolation without being able to make friends. I can genuinely say I survived my first semester because I had this sport to fall back on and keep me going just a little longer.

By the end of 2020, 15th of December to be exact, I got blessed with the best friend anyone can ask for @x-lipstickstain-x, literally only thanks to McLaren and Lando and this hellsite. Someone who has been the most crucial part of my life for the past 5 years, and one of a few reasons I’m actually here today still, about to graduate uni and genuinely in a place of life where I’m happy and want to live with all my might.

Back then we only dreamed of ever having the chance to celebrate him becoming a World Champion. We knew it was coming, I believed in it more then I ever believed in something. I got to laugh so many times when crying was the only thing I felt like capable of doing. I got to watch this year’s Silverstone win live with my best friends that I got because of him. I get to be alive for this… to finally see him getting the love he deserves just like during his first win. And its better than any god damn dream we could have had about it imo.

6 years of the hardest work he had ever done probably, and I can’t believe the time he is celebrated like he deserves to be finally arrived. Thank you for giving us so much, fun, joy, new friendships, the want to live and so much more. You deserve this more than anything, finally getting back what you gave us.

LANDO, YOU ARE THE CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, AND OF THE PEOPLE 🧡 Can’t wait to do it again, and hopefully celebrate even more (with less mental breakdowns) 🍾
