Recently, I've developed an interest in steel mills and industrial decay, so I had to draw them. I never use 3D models, though I have NO apprehension towards such tools and understand their utility, especially when used in animation production. Rather, I appreciate complex perspective, like stairs and inclined planes, as an opportunity to improve my draftsmanship, and the mistakes I make in that process are occasions for further understanding. TL;DR Perspective is hard, but the difficulty is what makes it valuable.
