A colorful print chintz at the windows and on the Chippendale-style sofa and chairs harmonizes with the Herez rug. A lacquered box used as a coffee table was designed by Keith Knost and hand decorated in Hong Kong. Its color complements the salmon hue of the damask fabric on the wing chair. A portrait of a young woman is painted on a wooden panel, circa 1830.
