It’s the start of the 1st Term 2026 Inuyasha Fandom Awards!
We hope everyone had a very happy holiday! A huge shout-out to everyone who participated last term and made it such a huge success! We look forward to all of the amazing new fanfiction and fanart to be shared with this beautiful community.
As a reminder detailed in this post, there has been a big change for how to submit your nominations. We are no longer taking nominations submitted through our ask or submission boxes. Change is not fun, but we hope this will make sending in nominations easier and more user friendly across all social media platforms.

At the end of last term, the voting form included the possibilities of the Roulette Categories for this term, and we have taken the top choice for both Fanart and Fanfiction.
- The Fanfiction Roulette Category for this term will be Best Antagonist Portrayal. This is defined as: Stories that have a developed antagonist with motive and ambition. This does not necessarily mean a “villain” of the story, but any one person who causes conflict for the story. A large part of the story must surround this antagonist and the “heroes” overcoming the conflict. Keep in mind that characterization must also be considered depending on who the antagonist is. Must name the character in your nomination.
- The Fanart Roulette Category for this term will be Best Traditional Artwork. This is defined as: A piece created using traditional media such as paints, pencils, pens, ink, markers, pastels, crayons, chalks, etc. Computer programs are used to create minor adjustments only or not at all.
We also have the Romance Roulette category for both Fanfiction and Fanart. This term, the pairing chosen will be Best KogSan Romance.
- For Fanfiction, it will be defined as: Stories that have developed a believable romance between Koga and Sango. “Believable” is subjective, and it is up to those nominating/voting to draw their own line on that quantifier and vote their “Best”. This includes canon universe and AU/AR settings.
- For Fanart, it will be defined as: Any romantic depiction of Koga and Sango.
Remember, all other romantic pairings, besides InuKag & KogSan, can be nominated into the Best Romance category. All other pairings will be up for voting again next term.
If it wasn’t mentioned above, chances are it hasn’t changed. Please be aware that the moderators always take suggestions regarding how the awards are run and category changes into consideration, and each new term may bring about new changes. The 1st Term 2026 nomination period will begin on January 1st and go until the end of the day January 15th. Please send your nominations in through the links above!
