i would argue that it’s not a traditional slow burn, but it’s still a slow burn. at first i was confused as to how it would take them decades to work out their issues if they were already scheduling dick appointments in episode 1 but they ebb and flow away from each other throughout time in a believable way, always keeping the sexual and romantic tension between them high, and they don’t define the relationship until the very end, so. slow burn. it’s the gay sex version of when harry met sally
