Frankenstein’s “monster” in this adaptation more than any other is just a very sad man this is not applicable to him. Go pick from another guillermo del toro production because this is a man it’s just a guy 2% supernatural 98% dude. If I gave him a bath, some healing lip-balm, five bandaids, and a nice warm sweater I could take him to trader joe’s where old ladies would call him a nice young man for getting the pasta from the top shelf

puttering around the house is an underrated form a self-care. make some tea or coffee. put on a podcast. sort the mail. tidy some pillows and fold some blankets. start the laundry. thaw some soup. just casually wander around aimlessly doing little things to make your space and life a little nicer. who cares if you get distracted or only do a little. you aren't being productive. you're puttering.

NOT that anyone needs MY opinion on the frankenstein (2025) moment but…… something that invariably aggravates me about these “adaptations” of classic literature is that they so often end up being trojan horses for a very different story that, for whatever reason, appeals to the writer/director more.
