My guilty pleasure right now is watching luxury hotel reviews and I found this british guy who keeps accidentally clipping into the backrooms.
He's unintentionally making the best liminal horror content on youtube
He just posted a video on Buffalo Bill’s in Primm, Nevada the month before the hotel closed down for good.
( It's the roller-coaster/casino/hotel that's in Fallout NV! )

I’m a huge fan of when a character gets a limb cut off. I’m not a fan of it getting healed almost immediately through magic or something, which usually removes all stakes to all future nonlethal injuries. And let me tell ya I end disappointed way more often than not with these things
I mean I totally understand why it’s so common. There is a lot of fun to be had with the incredible shocking violence of dismemberment. But it really makes the whole thing feel kinda cheap to immediately take away the consequences of said dismemberment. Especially if they don’t at least have to go through a lot to regenerate the limb..
Having said this, I do also quite enjoy when the creator establishes beforehand that a character has regenerative powers and then takes advantage of them to enact incredible agonizing violence upon them over and over. Roll Over and Die: I Will Fight for an Ordinary Life with My Love and Cursed Sword!, and A Girl Who Longed to Be a "Hero" Aims to Be a "Hero" Even If She Falls Into Becoming a Vampire, both do this very well in a way I quite like, even if they do have ridiculous long titles
