  • December 2025: I got accepted for the BLUE Fellowship at Building 21 for the semester of Winter 2026.
  • December 2025: I wrote the piece The chasm between technology and governance: Bernie Sanders to bring AI Safety to Congress?  for the CounterCritical   think tank.
  • December 2025: I attended NeurIPS 2025 in San Diego, and presented 3 papers (CrediBench, TGTalker and Real-TG) at the NPGML workshop.
  • November 2025: I held a Pessimists Archive  workshop at the Montreal AI safety, ethics and governance  group, where we went over the website of the same name and questions of AI exceptionalism.
  • November 2025: I was a reviewer for the 2026 ACM Web Conference.
  • November 2025: I wrote the piece The “Powerful Few:” an Omnidirectional Presence  for the CounterCritical  think tank.
  • November 2025: I attended the OECD's 2nd Annual Digital Trust Convention.
  • November 2025: My colleague Anne Imouza and I presented our work Dr. Bias: Social Disparities in AI-Powered Medical Guidance  at the SMASH (Symposium on Model Accountability, Sustainability and Healthcare) Convention at Mila.
  • November 2025: I was a final judge at the McGill AI Society's Hackathon.
  • October 2025: Three of my papers got accepted at the New Perspectives in Graph Machine Learning workshop at NeurIPS 2025!
  • October 2025: My colleague Anne Imouza and I presented our work Dr. Bias: Social Disparities in AI-Powered Medical Guidance at the IVADO Digital Futures  Symposium.
  • October 2025: I have become a member of the Observatoire international sur les impacts sociétaux de l'IA et du numérique (OBVIA)'s student community.

  • August 2025: I co-presented Are Large Language Models Good Temporal Graph Learners?  with Shenyang Huang at the Temporal Graph Reading Group.
  • August 2025: I attended IJCAI 2025 as a volunteer.
  • August 2025: I presented Base3: a simple interpolation-based ensemble method for robust dynamic link prediction  at the Temporal Graph Learning  workshop @ KDD 2025.
  • July 2025: I wrote the piece On the Perils of Technocracy  for the CounterCritical  think tank.
  • June 2025: I attended the Inter-CeBIL Annual Retreat as a member of its program.
  • April 2025: I presented my honours thesis Instant-Curry: a Boundless Proof Auto-Grader for teaching Functional Programming Theory , supervised by Prof. Jacob Errington, at the Conference of McGill's Epic Programming Language Systems.
  • April 2025: I wrote the piece Informed Consent, Redefined: How AI and Big Data Are Changing the Rules  for the Harvard Law School's Bill of Health.
  • February 2025: I led a Python Libraries for Machine Learning  workshop at the McGill AI Society's 2025 Hackathon (the largest AI hackathon in Canada!). I was also a final judge.
  • October 2024: I was interviewed and quoted in Usbek & Rica's  43rd edition on genetic discrimination.
  • June 2024: I gave a guest lecture at the Université de Laval  for the MMO-7031 "Enjeux éthiques, sociaux et légaux en médecine génétique de précision"  bioethics microcapsule.
  • February 2024: I have become a member of two of GA4GH's working groups (REWS: Regulatory & Ethics Work Stream); the one on Genetic Discrimination and the one on Generative AI and Machine Learning.
  • January 2024: phys.org  released a press release on our 2023 "Still using Genetic Data?" article.
  • January 2024: The McGill Newsroom  released a press release on our 2023 "Still using Genetic Data?" article.
  • December 2023: I co-presented The song remains the same? A comparative assessment of Canadian life insurance application forms post-GNDA  with Prof. Yann Joly at the GDO's 5th Annual Conference in Panama.
