This list is insane, a very funny record of bad times, and then halfway through we’re hit with “school gig with serial killer possibly involved in a snuff ring” !!!!! and then the list has passed beyond generational bad luck and into What the damn hell is going on in this country territory.

Today I discovered the Nick Fuentes side of Tumblr, where people mostly ship him with other grifters and imagine him pregnant, and I reblogged a couple posts to share this strange curiosity, and then deleted them when I returned to my blog and realized I just couldn’t stand to look at Nick Fuentes under any circumstances.

I think taking his image into your own hands, warping it in ways that might upset him, is pretty funny. Trolling a troll is praxis. (Or, under all those layers of irony, which help him laugh off anything silly, does any attention give him power? What purpose does this fandom serve?)

Everything he says is just SO evil. I cant even laugh, to engage with him or his ilk in ANY way just makes me feel sicker and sicker. No shade toward people who like to clown on the guy, thank you for your service, but count me out.

Listening to God implies that God speaks. This may put some people off. They have had no clarion calls like the ones which came to Samuel or to Saul. Friends usually refer to something less dramatic, more subtle: a sense of Presence; of the Inward Christ, the Inward Teacher or Guide. I doubt if anyone here has not felt over and over again a persistent inner tugging, an inner stirring or prompting, a sudden rapture or welling up of thankfulness, a comforting or encouraging which is not yourself speaking to yourself, or conscience (which has its cultural and moral content). There may be no audible voice, but there is a movement in the heart, a sense of Otherness that one is aware of.
