Hellooooo so some of you know that I ended up in the hospital a little over two weeks ago with a stay totaling of 9 whole days. While insurance did cover some of that, my first payment is not one I'm going to be able to make because I had already spent my disability check on other medical bills!
I'm still in the midst of switching doctors and medications, so right now I'm unable to take on commissions because I am still pretty bedridden (especially cause my free time has been going to dealing with the floods that happened here where I live in Texas so I've been extra fucked lol)
If you can help me make any kind of dent in that number, I would be grateful. I certainly don't expect that it will get paid off with all of your help but any kind of assistance would be immensely appreciated. I'm already putting things aside to try and sell to hopefully pay this payment off before the next one comes due.
For reference here is what my back looks like:
I have had 6 reconstructive lower back surgeries as well as a spinal cord stimulator put in at the end of last year. I have been disabled and living with intense chronic pain for 14 1/2 years. I am unable to work because I cannot stand longer than 5mins even with my mobility aids. I am on round the clock medications as well as ice to deal with the swelling of my sacroiliac sack which was damaged in one of my surgeries. I am currently bedridden, though the recent change in my medications after this hospital visit has allowed me to have a little bit more mobility, even it it has meant moving around my home better.
I am hoping that I will be seeing two new doctors soon to try new treatments, but I won't be able to take on that expense until I have this hospital bill paid off. I am going to contact the hospital and see if they can drop my overall bill down due to my economic class but that full bill is still almost $20,000, so regardless, I will still need help even if they approve. I know that everyone is hurting financially right now but even if you could lend me a couple dollars it would add up! Thank you for your kindness and I hope that you have a wonderful July🫶🏽
