Basically, yesterday, I'd scheduled part 2 of Honeyed for now, but somehow it got posted there and then. So, using my wonderful brain, I decided to private the post till my actual posting time 😃. Pairing: Steve Harrington x reader (Part 1)

Sooo good news, I'm close to finishing a part 2 to Honeyed (yes, fucking finally, I know), anddd I wanted your opinion about something.
Would you like the fic to be completely PG 13, or.... would some mild smut be good? Nothing too extreme, just something to add to the intensity. It goes without saying the one with smut would be a little longer and would take a little longer to post. Without the smut, I'm almost done, but smut obviously needs a little build up, planning and inspiration, so thought I'd get your opinion on whether the only angst theme works, or if you'd like some smut thrown in there too.
It's funny when By/lers come into the Mileven tag, shit on Mike, and try to get a "can I get an amen?" from us out of it…
and we give them crickets. Cause we don't agree. No we don't think he's a shit boyfriend.
The kid has been rightfully traumatized and increasingly emotionally-constipated regarding love and intimacy since S1 (also his parents' relationship doesn't help. And in S5's ending, his worst nightmare came true (AGAIN). Some of y'all really just exposing that you don't understand Mike Wheeler.

Lumax: Max drives Lucas away out of fear that he would reject her and blame her for wishing death on Billy previous to his death (as shown in her vecna visions during “The Piggyback”)
The Fandom: How beautiful and angsty!
Mileven: El is angry and humiliated after the roller rink. She has also had traumatic flashbacks recently that have been messing with her head. She is afraid that she is an unloveable monster Mike doesn’t love anymore and she yells at him for it. Mike attempts to explain himself, (after bringing her favorite food) without raising his voice, but ultimately puts his foot in his mouth and regrets it the entire season.
The Fandom: Their relationship is dead, Will had to save it.
Lumax: Max has been ignoring and avoiding Lucas for months, she has no desire to talk to him about anything at all and cruelly rebuffs him at every turn. The only reason she stays in the same room with him again is because she has a day left to live and even then she is still running from him.
The Fandom: If only they would just talk to each other, all of their problems would be solved!
Mileven: Mike dresses in El’s favorite colors, wakes up early to pick flowers that she mentioned missing, and brings her eggos when she hides in her bedroom after the roller rink.
The Fandom: (Blindfolds eyes and closes ears) What an awful boyfriend! He doesn’t even know what she likes!
Mileven: Mike advocates for El’s safety throughout season 3
The Fandom: What an overprotective smothering boyfriend!
Lumax: Lucas refuses to let Max be bait for vecna
The Fandom: Awwwww! 🥰🥹🥰🥰🥹
Mileven: Mike’s love confession helps El to fight back against Vecna and save Max, Nancy, Robin and Steve (they were being choked to death at the time) and creating an opportunity for Nancy to shoot him
The Fandom: That speech was corny as hell, and it didn’t even do anything! El didn’t even like it
Lumax: Lucas’ presence and touch are enough to help Max to return from Camazotz.

Reblogging cause I am absolutely fucking sick of people slandering Mileven just because of Byler! The show has promoted Mileven since literally season 1 and suddenly people have a problem with everything regarding Mike and Eleven! Byler is a cute concept, sure, but doesn't mean Mileven isn't wonderful too! And I absolutely hate the behaviour of all the Byler stans on here, how just liking Mileven or not agreeing with Byler makes you homophobic, or stupid for not understanding the show. Or suddenly you're a part of the group that doesn't support non canon ships and "wouldn't survive 2010s Tumblr" or all that bullshit! No, I just don't support actively Byler in the show because I like Mileven more! As simple as that! It's my opinion and I'm free to do whatever the hell I want. All the Mike hate, all the Mileven hate is absolutely uncalled for and just making the fandom toxic as hell!
heyy i saw so many people putting idea for “your girl” and i thought that she should end with steve but he def has to start realizing his tendency with nancy maybe he does it and it pushes reader with eddie and he sees her laughing and eddie flirting with her and realizes and loses it
