The concept of the gamer is really good BUT as someone who sows its annoying and rage beating. WHY dose the sowing mashing sow when i am trying to follow the line where is the amount of fabric that i need to use why cant i move the piece things why do i not get more money? like how? Its a good gamer in concept but i cant recommend it i tried top play it like 4 dresses and its just annoying to me to use. And its not really giving you a real experience in sowing. i cant change the treat color on the sowing machine what yo need to do because you cant use red threat on other Fabrics. Its a good game for someone who never has sowed anything in their life but for me no i cant deal with the little things.

This game is awesome! I can't wait for the full version. I tried making a dress I made in real life hesaeaheheeeaeaeaeae

This is the dress I made for the opera, inspired by cinderella's pink dress :)

I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the full version. The placement of the lace or ribbon is very tricky. I had also had issues zooming out when I had zoomed in. Other than that, yay :)

my biggest complaint with this game so far is the difficulty with using the lace, I cant seem to get it to wrap neatly around the edges of a dress or sleeve without it bugging out like crazy! how apart from that small issue I adore this game and the concept, the patterns make lots of sense and the individualization you can put behind each piece is truely amazing! i am for sure wishlisting this on steam

It's a very soothing and addictive game, and I would love to play the full version :)

WOW! loved this game! really sad it was only a prototype! will wishlist immediately! :)

What a great game! I have wishlisted it on Steam and can't wait for the full version

I REALLY loved this game!! I already wishlisted it on steam and definitely gonna buy it once it comes out. I would really love it if you could try the fabric on the sketchbook, cause sometimes I picked 3 different shades of a colour but couldn't find fabric that matched the idea. I also got mixed up while cutting the patterns because I was having trouble figuring out which pattern belonged to a certain part of the dress, maybe it's because I'm a native Spanish speaker and maybe I didn't know the names? But overall LOVED IT!!!!

Loved this so much! 100% gonna buy the full version for myself an my Mom.
Just moving the Cam while decorating the dress was quite wonky. I'd also love if you could see the pattern better? Like an extra Menu where you can see the full Pattern of each Piece.

im in love with this Game I Hope the Full Game comes out very soon

I really obsessed this game i wish to play again

a very nice game!

I really love the updates! I'm so happy they added lace. It allows for a lot more creativity. The way the sewing works now was a little hard to adjust to since I'm used to the older version, but I have to say it is a lot easier now! The only thing I want to say is to make the lace overlay a little easier to do. It's not difficult, but it does get messed up, so you have to pin it down in shorter pieces. Maybe for longer sections it would be nice to may it lay it down for you, and you can choose to select that section to overlay the lace onto. I think that would be great and make it easier for a lot of people. Anyway, I want to show what I did with the ribbon hemming because it's so beautiful! Please add more colors for ribbons!

wow!!

Some designs I made-- it's the most relaxing game I've actually ever played!

It could be better if the controls were a bit easier, like a better way to zoom in and rotate while adding decorations.

And I really hope there will be a freeplay system in the official game where maybe it's a cheat mode or something where there's unlimited money and you can make whatever designs you want instead of always doing the quests-- i really liked the freeplay element in this prototype version.

I've also found a bug in cutting the fabric: when you click the pattern with the scissors and it starts cutting and you leave the cutting page (or table or tab whatever it is) before it finishes and return back, it has the scissors keep moving, but not actually cutting it, yet the patter still seems to stay in place so you cant place a new pattern piece in its place (it collides) and the only way to fix this is the leave the game itself and come back. If that gets fixed I believe it would be wonderful!

Some Kind of Wedding DressYellow Ball DressCute Little Green Picnic Dress

I love this game, the variety of things one can make is amazing!!
I've never really seen a game like it before and I'm really looking forward for the full release of the game :D

The only suggestion I might have is regarding the grain quality feature. Perhaps, if possible, it could be toggled on or off. I find it more fun to figure out how to position the fabric pieces in a way that saves fabric, and with the grain quality feature, the player is required to position them a certain way, which doesn't allow much freedom in that aspect.

I really love the game though!! I'll be playing regardless, It's a lot of fun!!!

OMGG I JUST PLAYED THE GAME ITS SO GOOD AND NO MORE UPDATE???????? STILL NOT FULL VERSION OUT IN THE STEAM???????  WHEN???? IM DYING PLSSSSS

I just love this game, i wish we can play the beta again ;-;

note: the site just dont let me post a image of one of the dresses I made

Also, it would be really great if you could manually zoom in when looking at the mannequin and adding accessories.

Also make it easier to exit the game, at the moment, if you want to switch to another tab temporarily you have fully close the entire game and its really annoying to keep opening and closing it.

Love the design of the shop and the characters, they are really cute.

I do have some suggestions for improvement.

- Having a small window of ur sketchbook design so that you can look at it while choosing fabrics and cutting out pattern pieces

- The pencil is great, but instead of just having random colours can you make it so that you can colour in the actual fabric colours and patterns that are available. This would make it much easier to visualise your design before you make it

- Make it easier to turn the mannequin when attaching pattern pieces, at the moment it is quite hard and annoying

- Being able to hire assistants to help you in the shop would be good. You could assign them to a certain task or give them a list of things to do each day (e.g. cutting pattern pieces or sewing them together). Especially when using a large pattern such as the ruffle skirt, it takes foreverrrrrr to cut out all the pieces and having an assistant would help to make the construction process more efficient.

- It would be nice if the accessories that you add to the garments would contribute to the customers' requirements. E.g. adding ribbon might make the design more elegant

- Make it easier to delete the ribbon, lace etc off of the design, a few times I accidentally put it where I didn't want it and was annoyed that I couldn't remove it

Otherwise, I do love this game and would definitely play an improved full version!

Super cute game, very relaxing. I think the concept is genius and I'm kind of surprised no one's done it before, (to my knowledge.) Glad we're finally ringing in the girls gays and theys games golden age

My only real gripes with this game are the movement controls. For some reason my brain thinks the sewing controls are backwards when I'm using the arrow keys and it would be nice to have a way to change that in settings, (kind of like how in most driving games you can flip the steering controls.) I also attempted to put some lace around the cuff of a sleeve and my god did the game not want me to do that; I don't know if I'm just missing something about the movement controls, but it seems like panning around and putting a pin in lace/ribbon/etc are both done with the left mouse button, which meant I spent about 15 real life minutes accidentally pinning the lace half to the cuff and half to other parts of the dress, trying to undo it,  taking the wrong pins out, rinse and repeat. I also found that I couldn't seem to get the lace all the way around once even when I eventually managed to do it as close to correctly as I could, the lace would get about 80% of the way around and then flip in the other direction and double back over on itself. Frankly, even if it weren't for the other issues with the two buttons that do the same thing and the lace not being able to go all the way around, it was extremely finnicky trying to see what I was doing because of the movement controls. I think if it's possible, implementing some kind of "free camera" mode would be very helpful and also possibly some kind of mechanic where you can just do a loop of lace around a whole sleeve or the skirt/bodice/etc, kind of like how you can make a subloop around a 3D model? I feel like putting lace around cuffs/skirt hems/waistbands etc is something people will want to do often enough that it could do with its own hotkey.

I saw someone else suggest being able to remove parts of the pattern and I think that would also be a good feature. This isn't a problem that impacts me, but if you're going to have any customers that request specific colours, it might be good to have a way to check the colour of a fabric in text format for colour blind users (and also just bc sometimes it's kind of ambiguous if something's blue or green/orange or red/etc,) although I think all of the fabrics in the game so far have their colour in their name anyway.

Sorry to go on with the constructive criticism✨ for so long, I just wanted to give as much information as possible bc I figured it would be more helpful that way. Think of it as ✨free QA testing✨

Overall I still really loved the game and will absolutely be wishlisting it on Steam and buying the final version when it comes out

oh also I forgot to mention this but just in case it's relevant at all, I'm using the Linux version of the game in Mint Cinnamon

absolutely obsessed with this game! its like good pizza great pizza but for dressmaking! its so fun im having an AMAZING time right now! of course this isnt the finalized game so theres some glitches and issues but they aren't a big deal at all. specifically, putting the lace onto the dresses is very difficult for me, very glitchy and hard to navigate. I also would love to be able to adjust the settings for the controls, as the sewing is a bit difficult for me because the way the arrows move the hand is impossible for me to get for some reason. I'd also love to be able to view our dress sketch in each tab like selecting fabrics and such because I forget my sketch immediately. more dress options would be fabulous and amazing obviously. but yes i am obsessed with this game I love it so much

Love this game!

Please make this a full-lenght game 🙏

Only thing I would like you to change is that the floating glove in the sewing-stage is a little creepy 🙈 Could you change it into a full arm? 😅

Adding some of my designs below 👗

Absolutely love this game!

This is pretty fun, though I had to manually limit the game to 30 fps or it would turn my GPU into an air fryer

it says it will cause harm to my mac and wont let me download it :(

(1 edit) (+1)

reading the info right above Download called Mac issues  would help a lot

absolutely loved it! it really tests your fashion taste and your knowledge on color combinations ngl LOL

Im lowkey obsessed, finished with the clients in 2 sittings (i didnt have my laptop charger with me lol)

just encountered a bug and wanted to let you know in case it's helpful. I had a small scrap of fabric left (~0.1m) and when I purchased one more meter, the fabric list insisted that I now had -0.9m of that fabric (yes, that's a negative symbol). I had to buy a second meter, and now it says I have 0.08m of fabric left, which means I'm going to need to buy a third meter just to be able to finish out this pattern and compensate for whatever mathematical shenanigans are happening. If this isn't helpful, feel free to ignore, and if you need more details, let me know!

Peak fashion!

A little question I forgot to ask before, what is the time period the game is set on?

I absolutely loved the game! I'm an artist, but I never thought designing clothes could be so fun! I ended up co-designing a lot of the dresses with my mom, who loved helping me choose everything from shapes and colors to fabrics and the smallest details. The rest of my close family helped too! It became one of my favorite cozy games, and it's definitely the most creative and fun fashion game I've tried( I'd love some recommendations for others, by the way). We were all impressed by the demo, especially considering the short amount of time you spent developing it.

In any case, there are some details that I think would make it more enjoyable. First, I need a trash can option when piecing everything together to discard and redo specific parts of the cut-out pattern if I mix the fabrics or don't like how it looks altogether. Second, I need an easier way to zoom in on the ends of the sleeves. Adding ribbon or lace to them was such a pain sometimes. Third, maybe having fabrics with different levels of opacity. For example see-through silk or lace and the thickness of the fabric could also vary, especially for wool. And of course, it would be great to have more colors of lace, ribbon, buttons, and bows. And please, different ribbon sizes! I had to line up a few rows of it to make wider waist bands a few times haha.

In conclusion, this game gets a 10 out of 10.

P.S. I loved seeing everyone's dresses in the comments! They definitely inspired me to try things I never thought of doing in the first place. Y'all are amazing! <3

Here I leave my own ones:

oh great to know lol

I love this game!!!

Although when you are sewing at a turn it rounds the corner and when you follow the rounded corner you don't make a 100%. Also the quality progress made me crash out... I tried to get it perfect and I would do bad on some panels, but even if I got an 80/80 it wouldn't count as finished. Enough with the cons! This game made me remember when I wanted to sew everything!! Or in other words this game made mini me happy!

Is there a download for Chromebook

I LOVVEEE THIS GAME, though i might not be the best at designing and matching colours ahahha. I do have a few suggestion:

1. When we pick the dress design, it will be nice if it shows the estimate of how many meters of fabric needed to be use.

2. Maybe you can consider adding more colour options for the accessories?

3. I did a few mistakes here and there, it would be nice if we could discard or any fabric that we have cut to still be there after we change the cutout? Maybe also the option to change fabric even after we cut the fabric.

That's all what's on my mind while playing this game 😆

Nevertheless, I love the game so much it reminds me of the time I would imagine myself being a tailor and cutting random fabrics ahahha. Can't wait for the full version!!

I'm still loving this game, even as the demo, so many ways to create. I decided to do some Wicked inspired dress since the next movie is coming out soon.
