Age: 27/Male/US/ Here for a good time Not A Bot, I swear

Servant: Your highness, a party of adventurers has answered your call for help.

King: Excellent. What are they like?

Servant: One of them is a dragon-lady.

King: Interesting. Those are rare around these parts.

Servant: Another is a goblin paladin.

King: Not a role you usually see goblins in.

Servant: A third is a purple-skinned tiefling.

King: I didn't even know they come in that color.

Servant: The last one is a sapient gelatinous cube.

King: What. How did these four even meet?

Servant: They met in a tavern two hours ago, apparently.

Queen: My love, please return to bed.

King: *pacing* Why would a gelatinous cube come to a tavern? Can it even get drunk? How did it fit through the doors?

T-shirt that says “I’m not the trans man, im the trans that manned up”. Is that anything

It should be "man that transed up", if we're talking the "dad that stepped up" thing

I am shaking ur hand. Send it to the press boys

Snake Oil seller doesn't get why folks at the market aren't taking her seriously :(

Snake oil seller gets a big crowd of folks (including one dragon) at the market and sells out her entire stock!

I love happy endings qwq

Thinking back to the first story I ever started writing down (I was 7 or 8) about a group of stray cats who, every full moon, took the form of human kids. They actually were human kids, who had been killed (all at different times/by different people). Their bodies were each dumped by the side of the road where a cat had been hit by a car previously, and their souls landed in the cats' bodies. Eventually they all found each other and decided that every full moon, when they shifted, they'd try to solve each other's murders one by one. It was going to be a series, with each book focusing on a different kid's murder mystery. I told my mom about it once, briefly, and she said "Those cat books (warrior cats) are making you creepy."

Just finished writing this manuscript, the first story I ever started. 23 years in the making. Never give up, even if your mom calls you creepy 🖤

NEVER GIVE UP PEOPLE WE’RE GONNA GET THE STRAY CATS AND DEAD KIDS STORY

Assholes are often better at defending their own boundaries than people who think of themselves as nice.

You don't have to be an asshole to defend your boundaries though, you just have to be a very clear communicator.

"I wish I could help out but I can't." Is a full sentence. Never set yourself on fire to keep someone else warm, if they're worth it they will be horrified you've had to push yourself that far and would no doubt prefer not to be left scrambling for another solution when you inevitably burn out.

(If anyone calls you an asshole for having reasonable boundaries then chances are they're in the habit of thinking of your energy and resources as theirs, and that's a separate problem.)

Hands down one of my favorite moments of 2025 was when a whole quadrant of us watched Kpop Demon Hunters and got obsessed with the sad middle-aged woman who has all of two and a half minutes of screentime.

Also how we all watched those two and a half minutes and collectively went “that there is a lesbian.” The doomed yuri energy was too strong…

In our defense, we have eyes!

She is so beautifully tragic (and beautiful, and handsome) that I couldn't just walk past her.

Although, if she wasn't so hated by the majority of kpdh viewers, I don't think I would have latched so much on her... There is definitely an aspect of "to right the wrong" in action here.

But what really solidified the fact that Celine was downbad for Mi-yeong, is the concept art story by Simon Baek.

This right here is awesome as the representation of Rumi and Celine's relationship on itself (also Rumi's bratty, spoiled velcro kid confirmed), but also it shows how distant Celine at same time...

She is not doing it for Rumi. She is deeply emotionally invested in Mi-yeong still. And the word she chose here, "precious," not important, or significant, but precious.

She is bound to Mi-yeong, whatever justification she figure out for herself, be it guilt or care, she just can't let go.

She literally lives near her grave!!! (not really but it hella seems like it)

In other words

Celine: I am gay

We: Yeah, we know

Celine: what do you mean, "we know?"

We: look at you

Celine: look at what

We: look at your actions. Straight people don't act like that

I honestly think Gen-Z and younger simply does not understand how recent widespread smartphone adoption is.

I am not that old, and I didn't have a smartphone until probably late high school. For most of my life, many if not most people were not walking around with a magic internet machine in their pocket that they pulled out and used constantly for everything.

reblog if you remember having to ration your text messages and accidentally opening the internet on your phone was the end of the world
