Well, it’s a good thing hedgehogs have some resistance to venom. Hopefully enough.
Yes but the venom of a blue-ringed octopus is 1,000 times more potent than cyanide, and in some cases the venom can kill people in less than 20 minutes (though that's somewhat rare at least and it usually takes somewhere between 4 to 8 hours according to what I've read).
Also there's no antivenom.
